Good Budget Microphone for DSLR Camera

I have used this microphone in high wind situations, and it filters out the wind noise well. The person that you are recording does have to speak up loudly for the camera to record them, but that might be more of a camera issue than anything.

Not worth it for me

By luck I found these in a Best Buy store and hoped since it was the same company I was researching it might be good. However while it was easy to setup, I couldn't get rid of this hissing noise from it when recording. Ultimately I stopped using it and picked up a better model from the brand. I would say don't waste your time with this one and get a better model.

Good mic for recording with DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an external mic for my DSLR. I think it's a bit better than the internal mic under load, but when there's silence it produces a noticeable hissing on my recordings.
