    You can change the settings to be able to have the keyboard change different colors for varies things, it's highly recommended.

    The first one was DOA right out of the box. The second one bricked about 2 months later during a firmware update. Thank goodness for Best Buy warrantying it for me. The last one I've been nursing along for about 8 months hoping for a sale on something else, the left shift button jambs and doesn't sit level. The button has 4 small tabs on the bottom and they broke. You cannot take it apart to try fixing it either. I absolutely would not tell anyone to buy one of these. It looks pretty and all, but when it doesn't work it doesn't matter. Logitech used to be good stuff..not so much any more. Overpriced GARBAGE, going in the can tomorrow... I've had better luck with a Perixx plank that I paid $45 for and I've used it for about 4 years, Not as pretty, but you can't kill the thing. In fact, that's what I'm writing this review on. I bought the Logitech cuz it looks pretty. I learned my lesson: function before looks..the Perixx is kinda ugly, monocolor keys, but guess what- IT WORKS!

These models are normally tested for 70 millions keypresses, so they should definitely last longer than what you've experienced.     Responsive keyboard and I like the switches. They do take some getting used to. My one complain is the design. It's just to bulky definitely not for a smaller sized desk.

    Keys holding up well. Past keyboard would lose the "W,S,A,D" key lettering from on top those keys.
