Charges great, very durable, and fit my HP computer perfectly

I was in training 30+ miles from home and the office, and 2 hours into the class my laptop let me know my battery was getting low. I reached into my backpack to get my power cord and my stomach dropped as I realized I had left the cord at home. There was still 6 hours of training left and my laptop wasn’t going to last more than 30 minutes. I asked the other guys taking the class if they could help, but nobody was using a laptop that had a compatible power cord. Sigh... If I conserved power, I figured I could make it through to the lunch break. Then I could either race back home and grab my power cable and hope to get back to class before the afternoon session started, or try to find a solution close by. A quick internet search showed my options of getting the exact power cord I needed from amazon (2 day delivery), or getting a significantly more versatile power adapter for a significantly higher price from Best Buy. I was frustrated by the higher price tag, but if I wanted to get anything out of my training in the afternoon session I really had no choice. There was a Best Buy relatively close to where my class was being held, so I made it there and back in plenty of time. I opened the package and was surprised at all of the tips included. I recognized the one I needed for my laptop and connected it to the end of the output cable. If fit snugly, and after plugging it in to the wall and my laptop I was happy to see the “charging” indicator pop up on the battery icon in my computer’s system tray. I was back in business! I had a little time before class resumed so I took the opportunity to read the documentation that came with power cable. I was curious to see why this adapter was more expensive than I’d expected. First, it can put out 90 watts of power. My Lenovo uses less than a third of that, so this thing can juice up even the beefiest of rigs. Second, it has built in over-voltage, over-temperature, and short circuit protection. No need for a power strip or other buffer. Third, it can be used anywhere in the world without a voltage converter. When traveling abroad, this is really handy. Lastly, and most awesome, is the tip selection. The model I purchased came with 6 different tips. These 6 alone work for a TON of computers. But if one of these doesn’t work with your system, there is a “Tip Wizard” (http://bbyurl.us/tipfinder) where you can search for your specific device and find a tip that will work for you, and they will give it to you for FREE! Long story short, this is a great adapter. I’ve been using it for a couple months now, and have had no issues, but what prompted me to write this review was what happened today. I needed to get some files off of my old laptop earlier today, and it was deader than a doornail. I didn’t know where my old power cord was so I checked the tips that came with my new adapter. Sure enough, there was a match. I popped off one tip and put on the new one. Plugged it in to my old laptop, and it powered right up. How’s that for ultimate flexibility?!?

This product works great. I left my charger at home and was in a bind to get another one. It was expensive so I hesitated but really needed it so I got. Hoping it the multiple adapters will come in handy down the road.

I opted for the Insignia power adapter instead of the HP one after the associate showed me the difference in the products. It didn't hurt that it was half the price. It has worked well so far. And if my daughter needs a charger, we can just change the end.

very easy to use, but it is not compatible with my older laptop:/, but no worries, it should work, it is just that my laptop got damaged, lol. But it should be used correctly then it will work. :)

Fits my computer and fast charges. Makes it easy to have another charger on hand in case I can't find my other one.

Im so glad they make these universal chargers because i had lost my charger for a Dell laptop and couldnt find it ANYWHERE so this solved my problem! And it works great!

I lost my battery cable that went to my HP laptop and this cable was an easy replacement. The only issue I have is that the plug is not a firm fit on my laptop. The plug does come out rather easily. It does the job I need it to as long as the laptop is on my desk.

The kit came with the correct adaptors for my laptop and has worked seamlessly for over a year.

This power adapter works great . I can charge all of my lap top with this adapter. The different adapter fit most lap top so you don't have to buy multiple chargers.what I paid for this power adapter is a lot cheaper than buying the name brand for my lap top.

I have an older Toshiba laptop that needed a new charger. The Universal 90W Laptop charger was the right fit. The connection is not a tight fit and can get disconnected easily.

The charger for my computer broke (chewed on by my puppy), so I needed a charger that same night. I immediately went to Best Buy, where the floor associate recommended I purchase this. It is reasonably priced and it has additional pieces to fit other devices. Very happy with my purchase!

Very good charger with a good amount of adapters, not too bad for the price.

Works great! I keep it in my computer bag all the time now and never have to worry about forgetting my cord. And I've used it for friends who didn't have their power cord with them for a quick charge. The included book with the table of which plug to use for each brand is fabulous.

While going through my storage unit, I found a old computer that had a lot of photos on it. I was unable to find the power charger for it, I was lucky enough to find this charger and it works on a computer manufacturer that is no longer in business. Great charger, with multiple tips, at a great price.

Hopefully you will never have to replace the power cord from your laptop, but if you do this is an excellent option. It comes with adapters to fit most popular brands and the cord is nice and long. I have been using it for a few months now and I have not had any problems with it.
