Bought this as a temporary fix until we could get home and send her the original. It came with a lot of attachments and we did find one that fit her machine. Unfortunately it only supplies enough power to keep her computer on, won't charge the battery. Dell inspiron

Good news is that in a pinch it will let you work on wall power without an issue. Bad news is that the power supply isn’t compatible with the battery in order to charge it. It did get me through until I replaced it with a Dell brand unit, but not a long term solution.
