Download LG's remote control program on the computer, plug the remote into computer via provided usb cord and start to select what components you have. Make sure you know your model number, i took picks of the back plate to know mine. Works great with Charter Spectrum Cable Box and 55 inch LG TV and LG Soundbar. Dropped it once and it got stuck on help screen. No problem, after a dozen tried of getting it out, just go to computer, plug usb in, then open program - tell it to re- sync - Issue resolved!!!

My husband and I recently replaced our old universal remote with this new one. We like it a lot! It is easy to use and the price was right! Our old universal remote had to be put on a charger to keep the battery charged. This new one does not have a charger. It has batteries instead. It’s nice not having to try to remember to put the remote on the charger when not in use. I definitely recommend this item if you don’t want to have multiple remotes for the various equipment. It does make life simpler!

A replaced an older Harmony remoted with this one. settings transferred easily from old remote to new one. New devices were easily added to commands due to Logitech's up-to-date database of settings for devices. Despite my years of using Harmony remotes I was impressed by how simple it is to update and use. The Harmony software and included cable connects remote to my computer for saving and making new setups as needed. Highly recommended for those on a budget and/or who need simplicity

This is my second remote. The first worked great but did not last as long as i thought it should. I change channels constantly - hate commercials so this first one only lasted 14 months before some of the number keys stopped working full time. I bought the second with an extended Best Buy replacement warranty.

it does require some tedious set up, but once it is configured it works great. its impressive how it "learns" commands from other remotes. i was able to get it to work with an 8 year old sound sytsem and it even controls the AppleTV really well. You won't be mad you took the time to set it up - it really is nice once you've done it. Just don't underestimate how tedious it is. It also has to be done with a PC - which would be more helpful if I could set it up with Phone or iPad. However, still 5 stars.

it took a little bit of 'teaching' but now I can use just one controller rather than five to control my TV, Altice cable box, stereo receiver, and dvd and cd players. a lot of the initial setup is facilitated by going onto the logitech website. it took a few iterations to get everything working together (ex. 'watching TV' button now turns on TV, cable box and receiver all at once). The logitech device helps you work through that. overall very satisfied with the remote, its price and logitech support.

My grandson loves this remote. It runs his TV, his Smart DVD player, and his Xbox One S. It allowed him to get rid of his two remotes and now he has a more streamlined experience when watching TV, Movies, or wants to fire up the Xbox to play a game. He doesn't get much down time from the station, so being able to hit a button he pre-programmed and have his entertainment center fire up to what he wants on the first go is a huge plus in the "cool factor" to quote his view.

This remote requires a PC to set it up. The software installs quickly and it’s easy to add components to the system. There is a small LCD screen and soft buttons to allow selecting features of various components. It also has a lot of standard buttons as well. Easy to switch between components. All in all a good remote

This remote does a very nice job of eliminating the need for 4 remotes to control my entertainment system. Previously to watch a DVD I had to pull out remotes for the DVD player, sound system, TV, and cable box. Now just one remote controls everything. 1 button press gets everything set to the right inputs. Easy to program with the software.

This remote was pretty easy to program, but the using buttons and controls need some work. Some of the displays on the screen or miss directing and Waking it up actually make that use one of the feature button do you press to wake it up.

One remote replaces up to ten remotes, and allows multiple devices to be controlled with one command. Turn on Tv, Directv, receiver at one button, to work together. Push one button and receiver changes input to Blu-ray, tv also, and blu-ray comes on, direct turns off. One more button and blu-ray goes to all your streaming services. Holds onto programming when you swap out batteries. Geek squad set up my first one, I did the next one for bedroom. Requires a computer to set up, and if you do lose programming in remote, it’s backed up and easily put back in place.

Purchased this universal remote for a Blu-Ray sound system that no longer had it's remote with it. Got tired of constantly standing up and sitting down between going back and forth from the couch to entertainment system just to turn the volume down when movies got too loud for apartment living to turning it back up for being too soft for my ears to comprehend what was being said from my couch. Not only did I pair it with the entertainment system, but also my television. This remote has replaced all of my remotes!

This is the second Harmony remote that I have owned. I bought this model to replace an older model I've had for years. I really like the color screen and love how it changes for each operation, and is customizable using the app. Getting all my devices to be controlled by the Harmony was easy using their app, and much quicker than my old remote. I recently bought a new TV and had to replace the device the setups, but it was really easy to do. If you are looking for a truly Universal remote, I would recommend this Harmony 665.

Replaced a older Harmony that the buttons wore out with this model. Set up was very easy as it loaded the previous setting I had stored. Only feature to be aware of, this model does not have the rechargeable batteries that my previous model had, but that is documented in the specifications.

It's a little more complicated for a senior citizen than I expected. I'm a month into this and still don't have the full use of the remote, only because of my ineptness w/ anything electronic. Wouldn't recommend this to a friend, because they are all senior citizens and as inept as me

Concept is great but it doesn’t always work. I synced my Samsung Q TV Samsung surround sound bar and cable box. You press the watch tv button and most of the time one of them does not turn on. There is a hell button so it’s learning as you can tell it what didn’t turn on. After you press help then everything comes on. Why?

I bought this remote to replace an older Logitech that has seen better days. It did the job for many years but needed to be replaced. This one is the updated model, all I had to do is log into my logitech account and sync the settings from the old one. Done in less than 5 minutes! If you are starting from scratch, it takes a bit longer but not painful at all. Just make sure you can see the brand and model of your electronics. This remote is one of the basic models but works very well for the price.

I have one Harmony and just bought two more. While I am not completely satisfied it is better than the Apple TV remote that I was given when Spectrum was installed. The Apple TV remote control is a joke so I had to gain peace of mind with something else. The Harmony is adequate but it cannot pair with the Apple TV sufficiently provide me with the ease of the Samsung or LG remotes that come with the TV's because I was told that they are not compatible with Apple TV boxes. The Harmony is still difficult for me to navigate from regular TV to pay TV such as Netflix or HBOMax. You have to exit regular TV Spectrum and open the others. Also - I don't have the convenience of "Channel Up or Channel Down" or "Previous Channel" on the Harmony. But, it is better than the Apple TV remote control.

The remote gives a lot of programming options including preset channels to choose from. The activities are great since they have a start-up procedure to them. If the signal does not get sent or received properly, then the remote is not the most user friendly to select a device and choose an action. Once you figure it out, it's a very good remote.

I have owned a number a harmony remotes and they are very easy to setup. I love the convenience of hitting one button and all of the settings are as they should be. The only issue I’ve had in the past is some of the buttons will stop working after a while. For the money you can’t beat it. Never watch TV without it.
