    I've contacted insignia about this issue directly at their customer support and haven't heard back. this mini fridge has a super strong chemical smell that does not go away no matter how much baking soda we use. it goes away when we leave the fridge unplugged all day but comes back immediately and strong once we plug it back in and it starts cooling. I've never experienced this and quite honestly very fearful of the affects this fridge might have on me and my family since we don't know what that chemical smell is or what it is emitting. I cannot recommend this fridge to anyone, ever.
