This unit comes with 2 speakers but only one speaker works at a time, and there is no way to disconnect the two. The sound quality is fine, and the volume is adjustable. I would have preferred a unit with only one speaker, or two that will both have sound at the same time.

Had an old speakers and they had a double sound and a humm that I hated. I like these inexpensive ones and I can use my ear plugs with them to listen to a DVD or music from youtube or a CD.
