Works great when hooked up1

All of our kids are in other states, which is our only source of help. It is just sitting there and we sure miss the music and sound. My husband wears hearing aids and it is difficult for him to make out conversations on the TV. It would help him to have it hooked up. But no one wants to come to old people's homes right now with this virus and I do understand that.

Good SONY Reciever

The HDMI cable from my computer graphics card goes the HDMI input (called "GAME IN") in the back of the Sony unit and the sound is taken from the HDMI signal. The HDMI output ("TV Out") cable then goes the monitor. So 2 HDMI cables are needed for an HDMI Computer connection. Also the SONY has several other modes of operation and a remote control.
