    I’ve had about three different generations of Sony receivers over the years and each one is more complicated than it’s predecessor. This one is by far the worst. Figuring out how to set up Dolby Vision was the worst. But once I got it set up it worked.

    Sony products are awesome. This one accepts the audio fiber optic cable which is a mystery; no reason why this is necessary but bought one and plugged it in. When I put in a DVD, the TV turns on, the stereo turns on (dvd audio thru this system), and the movie begins. Great integration!

    Great AV receiver at a great price. It's basic, but it does everything I want with fewer bells and whistles than models costing twice as much. The only hiccup was I couldn't connect an old VCR to it. I ran the audio through it, but video had to go through the TV. Very easy to setup and works seamlessly with my Roku TV.
