This model is sleeker and slimmer so fits great it its designated spot. Also was able to get an open box for a pretty good savings.

The box is perfectly compatible with many inputs you could want, including Bluetooth which is rare for older systems you can find on c-list. Set up is very easy and fun IMO. The microphone that comes with the box wasn't functional out of the box but haven't tried reaching out to technical service because I was able to look up instructions to set up the unnecessary "nitty gritty" details of my specific home theater settings. Though It cannot handle VHS inputs, it can handle plenty of HDMI inputs and what more can a modern shopper look for?

It has HDMI out put for your tv and optic cables for sound. It supports 2.0 - 5.2 channels. Would recommend.

Have it hooked up to my Xbox, this turns on with my Xbox which then turns on my TV. Great settings for my needs. Easy setup. If you get an error at a certain volume, trim the speaker wires. Unplug one wire at a time until you no longer get the error, that means that speaker is the problem. Trim the wire to that speaker then, of course after unplugging it. I hope this helps, took me a few days to figured this out(credit to dude from YouTube). I always paid for Them to come out to configure the settings. The error is common and simple fix with Sony receivers.
