The driver must be installed from our website in order for the mini dock to function. Descent product, just not reliable

I’m glad that you are satisfied with the USB-C mini docking station. It does not require a separate power supply. However if your computer can be charged through a USB-C port you can connect a USB-C charger to the dock to power your laptop. I hope that you have a great day.
