Build quality seems great, step by step instructions on screen of how to set up machine. If you aren't familiar with grinding, tamping espresso this machine has many helpful tips, but in my opinion, is still not "easy" to use. The total screen interaction does put some limits on how to use the steaming features. Temperature is hot, but the way of the built, all the steam from the brewing or from the hot water spout fog up the screen. If relying on screen for next steps, which are required to begin next function you will find yourself needing to wipe the screen often to remove the moisture.

As usual, Breville made an outstanding product. After learning a bit about espresso-making and the intricacies of it, I have dialed my machine in to make perfect coffee-shop grade coffee

I love espresso but wanted more than my novice skills could produce. This machine makes it easy. Follow the instructions. Clean up thoroughly once done.

We love our coffee machine! Automatic milk foaming is such easy and allow me to do something in meanwhile.

Quality coffee, has espresso and americano option. Definitely watch videos to see how it works because it’s not a beginner type of machine but also not hard to learn with practice. A month in and I have no regrets✅

This Espresso maker from Breville shares the same level of quality as other Breville products. It is quite a tech-centric gadget that offers a myriad of options to make your favorite espresso drink. The learning curve isn't too bad. I highly recommend reading the instruction manual to ensure you get the most out of this appliance, including how to maintenance it.

I previously had the BES860XL for over 10 years. It worked great for a long time, but started having issues. I considered getting the similar version, but this was on sale. I liked the idea of being able to create my own drinks. What I discovered is that despite being able to create my own drinks...it only halfway works. Apparently you can't store the time for grinding. It only remembers from last use. With two of us using the machine, we have to manually adjust it between us. Second, the brew time range does not allow for the amount of time I actually use. As a result, I have to press it twice. So again, the idea of having presets doesn't work. I still have to manually do things anyway. In fact, before without the Touch version I pressed fewer buttons. If you can get it on sale, then maybe it's worth it. At full price it is not. I'm hoping that I can get 10 years of use out of this machine as well, but I'm not holding my breath. I would recommend the Barista Express for most people.

This machine is wonderful. I'm a fan of coffee and it's easy to use and the coffee is delicious

This product is better than advertised. My wife just loves it! Sometimes she hugs it! Just kidding. On a more serious note, this is a well made machine, it's durable, nice to look at, and is ideal for the coffee and expresso drinkers among us. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for one. It's easy to use and well worth the money.

Great Product , still found it to be not as easy to operate and pull a nice expresso. I am planing to try the Impress model . I read that model is automated a lot and not hard at all for pulling nice Expresso and making other drinks .

I upgraded from a pod-based system to the Breville. It’s very easy to use after watching a couple of tutorials and the espresso is fantastic. We make cappuccinos, lattes, americanos. I didn’t know what I was missing! I highly recommend the Breville Barista Touch if you’re in the market for an espresso machine. You won’t regret it!

Wonderful machine. Easy to operate, mostly self cleaning, and reminds you to do the manual cleaning when appropriate. The drink quality is excellent and consistent. This won't give you a ton of "fine tuning" options, but it's perfect for a basic barista who wants an idiot-proof machine :).

We have been using this product for some time now. It is easy to save your favorite drink preference in the system. It is so easy to make a cup of expresso or Americano without much fuss or cleanup. Easy to clean trays below catch any coffee grounds from the grinder or any liquids from the maker.

Excellent expresso machine. Honestly I have been researching and pondering to spend $1000 on a espresso machine for about 3 years now. It is not an impulse purchase for me. However when we moved to a neighborhood away from multiple coffee shops/roasters it became crucial to have good espresso at home. Breville Touch definitely easy, straightforward to use. We use the machine multiple times a day. What we did not think about is cleaning/replacing water filters every 4-6 months. Although I am not complaining. It has been 10 months, no issues - makes me feel like I am in a Paris cafe!

After years of thinking about getting a batista coffee machine, finally we decided to buy it. No regrets, maybe the only one would be that we didn't buy it sooner. No more Starbucks for us.

Love it. Easy to use, esthetic and compact. Ben using it for 4 months and no complaints thus far.

Very nice system. Simple to use and maintain. Being stainless steel, helps keep the machine clean. All parts are heavy duty and the LCD menu screen is clear and easy to use.

I don't feel I can't give a full review yet as we've only had it for about a month. Already we have had to do a reset to get it to brew properly. It doesn't give a full shot or double shot as it should so we have to do an unplug/restart a couple times to get it to brew properly. We had to do set to a courser grind to make it work as well. It will not work with a finely ground setting. We have adjusted grind times to get the appropriate amount of coffee and 18 seconds seems to finally get it to enough to do an actual pack. I can't say that I love it yet, but it's not terrible either. I'm interested in seeing how it hangs in there for the next year. For the $799 price, I don't think I should have to reset my machine to make it work. On the brighter side, it does make a nice tasting cup of coffee with a great steamer for froth! Much better tasting than the K-cup version of things. Although more labor intensive - the taste is dramatically different.
