But for some reason it's a tight fit into the lighter. It's a bit of a struggle plugging it in and removing it. I know some ppl just leaves it plugged in, but I'm cautious and removes it every time I leave the car.

Blue light on the charger tells you it's connected. Doesn't do a fast charge but I didn't expect it to. I purchased to replace one I'd had for many years that finally fell apart.
