What can I say... mouse is a great size, has amazingly placed extra buttons, an easy to use software for customization... I’d give it a 10 out of 5 if I could.

These things don't last long. The same issue mouse after mouse and no matter the model. The left click button gives out and erratic, not clicking, multi-clicking and only single clicks when it wants to. Nothing more frustrating than trying to move windows around or moving files and accidently changing or grabbing the wrong ones. I stop bothering to play games once the issue surfaces since it gets progressively worse. Troubleshooting points to the mouse. Swapping mice and systems yields the same thing. The warranty period is 2 years for this mouse and Logitech came through and sent me a replacement. We'll see how long this one lasts. This last one lasted 1 yr. 7 mo. and that’s when I gave up on it and replaced. The G903 before that lasted 2 yr. 4 mo. And the one before that 2 yr. 1 mo. There are others but purchased in store and no dates but all failed the same way.

I've already had this mouse for years, but it was starting to wear thin and clicks weren't as reliable. Bought this just to replace it and works just as well brand new as it did years ago.

Heavy mouse but feels good in the hand. Has nice extra buttons. Overall good for price, however, Logitechs software leaves much to be desired.

Whiout any doubt one of the best mouses you can get out there for a nice price. Just check some YouTube videos about this model and get convinced.

Does not have too many buttons, just enough and in the right places... for a right hander... left hander probably not. Have had previous versions and all have held up good.

I had the G402 that's poop. Do not buy the G402 This one the G405 is amazing this great scroll wheel perfect form with quick dpi adjustments and side buttons.

I love this gaming mouse. It has 11 programmable buttons. And is excellent for gaming. I recommend buying this. It has controllable RGB lighting, and a software.

Great mouse, being able to add more weight makes it even better. The mouse wheel feels heavy and changes weapons in games easily. Overall really like this mouse

The mouse works as described. Has very nice features. Second one I've purchased. The adjustable weights and buttons are a good functionality.

I purchased this mouse when I bought my gaming laptop and picked it up because it was on sale. Overall the quality of the mouse is good, and the features are good as well. I love the feature on Logitech Mice that allow you to turn on and off the scroll wheel from clicking or free spin. The Weights adjustment is ok, more of a gimmick but If you like a lighter mouse or a heavier one it is nice to adjust that. For my size hands the button that sits where your thumb is sticks out and annoys me some but I have been getting use to it. As a affordable feature rich mouse it is great. I love Logitech Mice and this one is no different.

This mouse gets very good reviews overall but the scroll wheel is something to be desired. It's got no rubber tactile grip and gets a bit slick. In infinite mode it's a bit too much for me. Some people love it. So it's definitely a preference. I have been through a few of them and generally they always fail on the click mechanisms. They will start to ghost click. I had Logi replace one under warranty without issue once. One failed eventually outside of warranty. This is the 4th one we've owned.

Got this for a teenage relative. Works great for what he needed it for and it looks cool which is a plus. Has lasted longer than others as it's used every day.

This is the best mouse I’ve ever bought. The versatility of the mouse and the fact that you can adjust the weight makes this thing amazing.

I highly recommend this mouse. I'm not a technical person but I have put my fair share of hours into gaming and I have to say this one is better than others I have used. I bought this one for my son since I have owned another for over 9 months now and had no issues with it. The weight is excellent and it feels solid in my hand. And after downloading the Logitech app, I can set the dpi the way I feel the is the best control.

Good mouse last along time weights add good option

I got lucky and got mine on sale for basically half off. Even at full price it is a good deal. Fits well in big hands and can add enough weight to make it as heavy as you want. I'm no pro gamer, but I enjoy using it for productivity tasks and light gaming. I'm not sure if there is a difference between this and the Proteus Spectrum I have, but they both seem to perform the same for me.
