Mouse is ok. Extra button placement for button 4, up and back from your natural thumb position is awkward. The supplied weights seem a bit gimmicky. The software will see the mouse, but never connects so assigning buttons 4 - 6 to individual game functions is not possible.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and issues with us regarding the G502 HERO. I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with the placement of some of the buttons and that GHub isn't connecting for you. I've found that gaming mice and keyboards are more subjective than most things and that everyone has a different preference and style that they like and is comfortable for them. I'm confident that there is a Logitech mouse that is perfect for you!

I wanna start by saying that I love this mouse. I have bigger hands and it felt really good. The dpi button is really nice and you can adjust the weight of the mouse very easily. The only problem that I had was the left mouse click switch was going bad around a year old. I looked it up and it is a common problem. There is a way to fix it but I wasn't able to fix mine. It really sucks because it was my favorite mouse so far. I have other logitech g mice and never had a problem. I would like to get another one but I don't want to run into the same problem with ghost clicks. I really do wish logitech will fix this problem in a future redesign.

Hey there Roomrunner, and thanks for this review. If you didn't already know, the button directly below the mouse wheel should change the scroll wheel from free scroll to standard scroll, which should minimize how much the mouse wheel moves when you jerk the mouse quickly.

Good mouse but lackluster software the dpi goes out of wack when the app isn't open which can happened a lot between updates. Need 3 dpi switches to be on for full rgb.

I got it for my husband's home office. The wireless one is way too expensive. When he needs to move, he uses the 720 that is wireless. Great buy!

Worth it in price, my only concern was it seemed to change DPI while I was using it. Thankfully Logitech had troubleshooting and let me install a program to change it manually.

When working found it one of the best gaming mice in terms of accuracy and feel. After about 9 months of using it the left mouse button would randomly stop working. I have used only logitech products for the better part of the last 10 years and it seems the quality and quality control has went down hill in the past few years. I have had 3 different logitech products fail with in the past 2 years and from what i am seeing so far the warranty is useless, make it hard to find and submit a warranty and try to make you jump through hoops with bots, poor communication, and no direct reply. Done with logitech will start using a different company from now on.

This is one of my favorite mice. It has some RGB and a very good sensor. The only issue I have is the weights can be difficult to remove.
