I hope to get a few years of service!! I have had two others similar - not from Best Buy - one did last about a year, but it was not as comfortable as this one is. The other was just plain defective! I am counting on Best Buy's reputation for quality items. Just wish the ear phones were a bit "smaller" - would be a little more comfortable. Perhaps my next set??

Great pair of stereo headphones

Controls too small

In the dark and in bed I kept trying to adjust volumn and touched wrong button and often turned it off. very frustrating and returned the unit.
