This headset is really good, its not like any other headset out there. For the price is pretty good.

Great sounding headset with a great mic. It is however cumbersome with all the wires if you are gaming from across the room

Merely an average and frankly overpriced headset. If you can get the amp separately with a headset you own it would be a better deal to be honest. I couldn't really notice the sound difference between this and my $100 headset. Its best to just get dolby atmos for $15 on xbox and use that with a current headset. Plus there are just too many wires. Not to mention the amp won't work through audio iptical on series x.

The sound from this is amazing... I like how I can control game audio and chat audio with the turn of a knob... the different equalizer settings is nice too!!! Will be getting the set for my PS4 next!!!

I've been using the Astro brand for 10 years now, and after my first pair of TR A40S, that I used on the daily, bit the dust, I upgraded to this newer model and love them

Incredible build quality. Needs additional aux cable for series X

So I was disappointed to find that though the headphones work with the controller adapter, the mixamp pro tr is basically just charging and looking cool in the Series X usb port. After googling I found that an update needs to be done in order to update the firmware so it will work with the next gen console. I just did the update which was pretty quick, so at some point today I will try it out and give an update.

I’ve had the A40’s with the controller amp and changed to these when I got a pc. The work perfectly and and the mixamp is so convenient and easy to use. 10/10 would buy again

Bought the a50’s, returned and got the a40’s instead. No need to worry about battery and charging it. Great quality!!! I’ve owned MANY, headsets and keep on coming back to Astro’s.

I love astros, I have always bought them and I upgraded from the first Astro a40s to ever come out they still work perfectly after 10+ years so I expect these to last another 10 years.

Work great, limited by connection length, not bluetooth or wifi. Ease of connection is good. Sound good, mic good. Could come in more colors and have a mute button

Coming from an Xbox series X owner. They are amazing to have no joke the quality aim these are the best I have ever had and gone though a lot of headsets. It a great product but with its downfalls with its set up. It’s not plug and play and the manual they give doesn’t not help at all!! So for any Xbox owner out there (sorry I don’t know for PlayStation owners could be the same set up) you need to update your mic amp firmware or it will not work at all. I had troubles I download the command center on my computer but the update did not show up even though I detected the mix amp and Astro headset. I found a YouTuber L3G3ND6 who has shared file updates you can download and on the command center you can manually updated the firmware from the download. Here’s the link https://youtu.be/mA2VPeMwdAc Another thing your Xbox has to say headset assigned or you won’t be able to use your mic. If doesn’t show up you have to do eaither a hard reset or a full shut down and unplug the mic amp then reconnect before starting your Xbox on again. This is what worked for me to get it all running. One last thing to add I found out after the fact you can download the command center from the Xbox Microsoft store so if you don’t have a computer by chance maybe giving that a go to see if it will update from there.

Best head phone for Xbox 1 S. How do I know? Because I bought this for my son for a Christmas gif and o boy does he remind me all the time how much better the audio is.
