These don't have the dynamic range of the old system.. but they do just fine. Set up and installation was easy and the system recognized them immediately. I like the colored speaker surrounds.. The default blue is just soft enough to be useful but not overpowering. Would I get them again if I needed to . Yeah I would

Good for 2.5 watt speakers

No noticeable distortion. Hissing can only be heard if you put your ears within a few inches of the speakers. From normal distance, it can't be heard. Bluetooth works great. I like how I can easily switch between a wired desktop connection and to a bluetooth-connected tablet or phone. On my Windows 10 computer with Realtek audio driver, it has a equalizer setting called Powerful that makes the audio sound less flat.

Connected using bluetooth and it connected quickly and worked perfectly. Since I connected via bluetooth, I liked that the audio cable is removable from the speaker to elimiate any extra cords and clutter.
