This freezer is great! Much more capacity than than a chest freezer with the same footprint. Much easier to organize. Can be set to be a freezer OR refrigerator. So good, we bought another to use as a spare refrigerator. Garage ready, great seals, extra insulation.

So far, it's great! Excellent delivery. Fits space perfectly. Keeps right temp. Looks beautiful.

The size is perfect for the 2 of us and it's working great. Best thing about it is it's froze free. We don't have to worry about defrosting it! My last freezer was over 40 years old so this is amazing!

I have been so happy with this freezer. It hold the cold temperature well, the size allows it to hold much more than we anticipated, and it is quiet with a sleek look.

This is a great freezer. I was worried about this being a "real freezer" due to its ability to convert to fridge, but so far, its great. Nice size - holds ton of food and bins. Adjustable glass shelves, deep bottom full plastic (not wire) drawer, & lots of door shelves. Makes no noise - very quiet - I keep mine in my kitchen. I agree with others you need to ensure you shut the door manually and push firm - but I do that anyway. This is worth the money and I would buy again.

I have had my new freezer for about one month. It has been absolutely terrific. I selected the black with stainless steel door. It is a great additional freezer for my garage. It arrived without any flaws, no dents or dings. I opted to set it up myself rather than pay the additional fee. I am glad I did because all I had to do was put the door handle on, which was simple. It operates silently, no noise at all. I like the glass shelving, the bottom storage drawer and the door shelves. I was a bit hesitant at first because I have never purchased any Insignia products before. I looked at many options for my garage freezer needs. However, I did not want white and I wanted auto defrost. I found most freezers are white and any smaller than this size is not frost free. I highly recommend this product and am confident that I will enjoy it for years to come.

I had purchased an Insignia chest freezer at the beginning of the quarantine shutdown in 2020. Freezers were in high demand and choices were limited. The Insignias were in stock and the prices were good. I had never purchased this brand before so I didn't know what to expect. The chest freezer worked great, quiet and froze quickly....however chest freezers tend to get annoying very quickly with trying to dig through and locate what you need and becomes unorganized very quickly. So finally these Insignia upright models came back in stock and I purchased one. The size to price ratio is hard to beat compared to other brands. I really like the digital temp gauge and how it's easy to set an actual temperature versus just a knob with a 1-10 number. It has a good amount of space, the shelving is perfect to keep it organized, the bottom bin is great for bagged foods, the bonus door storage space, not to mention it has a light inside which is unheard of with a freezer. The build quality is nice and solid, and the door seals tight. I mainly bought this to be a freezer but it is such an incredible bonus to be able to just covert this to a fridge if I ever wanted to. I would definitely buy another one of these if I needed another freezer or refrigerator.

Great convertible fridge/freezer, site in our garage has an overflow fridge, giving the main one in the kitchen more space and making it easier to find things. Convertible, the issue is, once you have Fridge or Freezer food in there, how do you convert? You either have to empty or eat everything. Got this on sale, my only regret is that I did not buy two, could have kept one as a fridge or as a freezer.

It does what it's supposed to do: keep foods frozen. The interior light and glass shelves make finding things easy. It is very quiet. Don't know about longevity since I've only had it a month. But so far so good. It's my first upright and like it so much better than my old chest freezer.

We originally purchased the 17 cu ft model.. and loved it so much we purchased the 21 as well. Unfortunately, the 21 came with glass shelves that just don’t seem to hold as much as the wire shelves that are in the 17. We only had this one just over a month and the bottom shelf spontaneously shattered. Not sure if it’s a fluke deal, or not? But the other shelves look concerning as far as bowing .. I would not be the least bit surprised if they all end up breaking. I can’t seem to find anything on what the shelf load is? Maybe we have too much weight on them? Regardless.. Its a bit frustrating. at least the insignia customer service pulled through and sent me a new shelf (Although, they claimed they shouldn’t because it was out of their 30 day warranty.. by a few days) I had to spend an hour and a half on the phone with them, but should be receiving my new shelf tomorrow. Wish there was an option to choose wire shelves.. that would have made this a 5 star purchase like our last one. Added a picture of the wire shelves in our other model as well for comparison.. we much prefer that model.

I love this product. I purchased it with the intent to use as a secondary refrigerator. It is a small petite size with more than enough space for extra groceries for a family of 6. It can also be turned into a freezer with a click of a button. I also love that it sings to you if the refrigerator door is left open. A future needed with the kiddos don't always close doors all the way.

The unit works perfectly. We love the option of being able to use this as a refrigerator or freezer. We are using this freezer/refrigerator in our outside shed do store our ice creams, freeze pops, steaks, and all the other things for our cook outs. Definitely a great buy!!

This freezer was so much better than I anticipated. I use it as a freezer, it's super cold without the frost! I've fit more food than I can imagine into it, 13.8cu foot is really a lot. Fit in my one-butt kitchen like a charm! So far it's been a month and there is no problems with it. It reads 00° all the time, but it feels a bit colder than that. This is such a great product, I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this fridge/freezer!

I like that it can convert from a deep freezer to regular fridge. Very efficient and got to temp in under an hour from room temp

The freezer works great. Kept frozen even when lost power. Love how it has an auto defrost so no hassle there. Takes up a lot less space than my previous chest freezer. Didn't add to the light bill, if anything has less of a draw than my old freezer. Would recommend this to everyone needing a freezer.

I love the refrigerator/freezer. We use it as a freezer it works great and the perfect size for our family of 3. It is easy to operate, no complicated parts. It does what it was suppose to do. We have had it for almost 10 months.

So glad to have an opportunity to comment! I am very pleased with my new convertible freezer/refrigerator. It is very quiet, just the right amount of space for our needs and love having the drawer at the bottom. We use it as a freezer but love that we have an option if we want to use it as a refrigerator!
