Bought Audio-Technica earlier in the month and there was assembly needed. Only provided instructions with pictures no words. Limited assembly with the Sony but great instructions that even I could make it happen.

Especially if it’s on sale you cannot beat the sound and features. Dinged it one star for the plastic base. It’s still solid but not up to the Sony name. All said though for under $200 you can’t beat it.

A great feature your son is probably already enjoying is the fully automatic one-step playback. With just a press of a button, the tonearm automatically starts and returns at the end of the record, so he can just sit back and enjoy the music without having to worry about damaging the needle or his vinyl.

This is a great player! Great sound, we ran the sound through a boom blue tooth speaker and it was fairly easy to get all set up.

At this price point I was looking for one to pair with our Bose soundbar as my ProJect is the one I use for quality. This filled that void perfectly. I would buy again!

This can also be set with amp and has a preamp installed so makes it less of a hassle when I want to get the whole set up.

My Sony Turn table

After assembly and setup it automatically picked up my Sony sound bar for my TV. My albums never sounded better. I love it!
