Absolutely amazing headphones! The sound quality is beyond my expectations. Beautiful bass, tasty treble, and phenomenal sound placement. Love the apps ability to adjust the sound profiles. Most comfortable headphones I've ever owned. Being able to replace the head rest and both cushions is a game changer. I actually replaced my Sony InZome H7's with these for that exact reason. Only 2 problems. 1) You can't connect via strictly blutooth, there needs some kind of cable atrached to the docking station to work. 2) the power cable is a Micro Usb, not a Usb C. On the whole, definitely worth the momey. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

Overall great a quality headset but the cons out weight the pros. Pros: -Comfy -Great sound -Great range -Decent battery life Cons: -Price -Software -Charging dock -Charging port -Static I’d recommend buying a set of attics instead for $100 less. I wanted to try these out and I regret paying the $100 up charge for these over the attics.

Best headset! The ear muffs feel like a cloud. The top of the headset doesn't make my head hurt from the weight. The sound is clear without having to have the volume all the way up. The best part is I can still hear my kids in the background if needed without loosing quality of the game play. The charging station is magnetic which makes it easy for me to drop and charge or pick up without having to unplug wires. 10/10.

These are excellent headphones. Sound quality is amazing, mic pickup is high quality. Battery life is quite long, even gaming all day I've never had them die on me. The range is also excellent, I have these setup in a basement and I often keep them on while I go upstairs to the other side of the house (40-50 feet away) and they don't drop out. Although they are over the ear, they are not noise cancelling so if you're in a noisy environment they might not be the best for you but other than that, no complaints at all.

These new Gen A50s are better than the last that came out during the PS4 days. Battery life is around a good 7 hours of straight use. Ive done 3 to 4 hours streams multiple times in a day and only needed to charge once during that time. The ear muffs dont hurt your ears after long time of usage and the 3D audio coming thru the headphones make a huge difference when playing shooting games. I can hear steps before anyone in my squad can and can also tell if they are below or above and thats necessary playing certain games like Call Of Duty or fortnite.

Love my a40, needed and upgrade and went a50s. These are great, no more mixamp like the a40s but the Astro program makes all the adjusting easy and has presets as well. Sounds good battery lasts long and mic is decent.

The Astro A50 has great battery life, it's lightweight, and the mic is fantastic. I use the headset for gaming and for zoom meetings. Cons: - The mic is extremely quiet on Linux. If you plan on using this on linux, you'll need a different mic. No mic issue on PC/xbox. - It is difficult to get the thing to charge on the dock so I tend to use a microusb cable to charge. - It didn't work out of the box, after a full charge, and the provided instructions didn't bother to mention how to do a reset. If the headset doesn't work, try a hard reset "hold down the Dolby button located on the back of the right ear cup. At the same time, hold down the Game button which is also located on the right ear cup for 15 seconds".

I have used my pair of Astro A50 Gen 3's since they were released years ago. I LOVED them. after so many hours of gaming and a few incidents of raging (lol) they had seen their better days and I was due for an upgrade with the new consoles coming out. I saw these were compatible with the Series X that I game on - and I decided to go for it. My first pair synced to my mac and upon trying to update the firmware on the base station and headset I was met with errors- Tried resetting / manually installing to no avail. I was eventually able to download the update and plug it in to my xbox. I followed all the youtube guides from Astro on changing the settings and making sure it was ready and no matter what I did.. I could not get ANY sound to come through the headset. Multiple support cases with Astro later and no answer still in sight, my frustration got the better of me. I wasn't paying this much to do 20hours of troubleshooting on my headset. I decided to return them and try again with another pair. This time it synced perfectly with my mac and the update went through without a hitch, plugged in following the same steps online and the sound came through just great. must have been a faulty first headset that gave me so much grief, but now that I have a working one and its synced I love it just as much as my Gen 3's. I play for hours at a time and it never gets old or painful on my head. My ears never get uncomfortable and the battery life is exceptional. I would recommend this with the heads up that you might run into errors on the sync but when done right, its awesome.

I had a pair of Turtle Beach’s before this and while they sounded good they had some pretty hard to deal with connectivity issues so I got these ones instead. Wow this headset sounds amazing!! I can hear footsteps, ambient noise and other sound effects extremely well all while having a nice, comfortable fit on my head and around my glasses. If there was one con to these headphones its the fact that the microphone doesn’t pick up my voice very well when I first turn them on, it can take around 10-15 seconds in order to start picking it up normally, but when it does pick it up it sounds extremely clear for a headset microphone.

From the minute you take them out of the box they scream quality. Very study and well constructed. I had a pair of wireless Turtle Beaches that worked natively with the series X. These were always dripping audio and just having connection issues. The Astros on the other hand have not dropped one time. The battery life will outlast any session I have. And the quality of sounds is amazing. The people on the other end are always complementary of the way my audio comes through to them as well. I will only say that the price is a little high. But the old adage “You get what you pay for” definitely holds true. Would recommend these to anyone that has the money to spend

Great sound and quality overall. Pricey but worth it. The sound is pretty good and the earmuffs are very comfortable. Mic quality is super good. The feedback is nice and crisp. The battery life is also insanely good. They take a bit longer to charge but last pretty dang long. I bought Dolby Atmos like advertised with the headphones. Works well, though not phenomenal, worth it for a one time purchase at $14.99. Definitely recommend.

Have had this headset for 1.5 years. Sound quality is still great, wireless range is good too, stays connected from about 50ft away going through doors and walls. Often times a few minutes after turning the headset on a static feedback loop will start, which can be fixed instantly by turning off and on the headset and switching the dock/base to PC and then back to XBOX. Annoying but only takes 5 seconds to fix. Tighten the allen screws that attach the top headrest to the metal pipes connecting to the ear cups. One fell out and I spent the next 20 minutes sweeping the floor trying to find it.

This headset is… excellent for what it offers. But, Astro really needs to improve on the design for the 6th generation when that comes out. Let’s start with the positives. The sound is excellent and easily tunable to whatever you want. The Microphone is crisp and clear for it being a wireless mic. The earcups are good stock, if a little warm. Let’s go to the bad but fixable. The Headband. Hooo boy the headband on the Astro A50 Gen 4 is… deplorable. The design is just straight up flawed. The middle piece that has the only segment of padding on the headset will very easily pop out of its friction fit mounting and make you very uncomfortable. However, there’s a person called Capra Audio that makes 3D Printed headstraps out of TPU plastic for a wide variety of Headphones. This absolutely transforms the headset from uncomfortable to insanely comfortable. And completely fixes the issue with the headband. Then the earcups. The stock ones are fine, but my highest recommendation would be to buy a pair of Wicked Cushions for this headset. That levels up the comfort even further and makes this easily an “all day” fit. Finally, the firmware issues. If you take the headset off its docking station and unplug the dock for a long time (around a month) the Headset will just… lose its firmware. And then you have to do a fairly long process with a desktop PC to reload the firmware onto the headset again. But, as long as you keep everything plugged in, and the headset charged, everything is good. I wish there was a “I kinda recommend” option, but I’ll have to give this an “I don’t recommend”.
