This is my second astro headset. My first was the a40 with mixamp pro which was amazing and still works, i just wanted to upgrade. This one works awsome as well. Battery life is good and they are comfortable. I only wish it had a removable battery so when the battery is a few years old it can swapped out instead of the whole headset. I bought the steelseries arcis pro with gamedac a week before this set and i did not like the sound more than these. I hear some prefer steelseries though so to each their own.

I’m not a heavy gamer but i do enjoy the finest equipment. this is definitely in that category. This headset is very comfortable on the head for long gaming sessions and very adjustable for all head shapes and sizes. and if you don’t like the ear cuffs that come with the headset there are tons of replacements you can buy, some having memory foam or cooling gel depending on what you need. the quality of this mic is insane, i have a very soft voice and this mic picks up what i’m saying with ease. set up was a little difficult since i play on xbox but once you get it working there are rarely issues. and there are so many customizations you can do to the mic to allow different volumes or change the range of feedback you get. it’s definitely something everyone can make personal to their own style.

Wow this headset is very comfortable and extrenely loud! The battery lasts several hours ive never had a better headset.

If you have ever used astro these are a great option. Sound quality is great. Battery life is more than enough. Range feels further than described. Only downside I have is that it it harder to mute than an inline mute button but not sure how to fix that without a complete redesign.

The absolute best headset I have ever used. They are very comfortable even after many hours of gaming. The big ear cups and cushion on the band makes it very easy to game for a long time. The battery life is very good as well. The sound is loud and clear. You can also customize the sound the way you want it in the Astro command center. Overall, I’d give this headset a 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

Bought these to replace a different pair of headphones. They have good wireless range and sound quality. The overall headset is comfortable, though the top cross bar can be a little uncomfortable. I would definitely buy again.

The headset itself is amazing, very comfortable and the sound quality is the best I’ve heard. I can’t say enough good things about the headset. The Astro command center app, which helps you customize your audio settings as well as updates the headset and base, is horrible. Just getting to an update is a struggle, basically have to unplug and plug the base into different usb ports until the app decides to connect to the headset/base. Already had one issue that needed an update to fix and something that should’ve taken 5-10 mins literally took hours to get worked out. In my opinion, still worth it because the audio I’m getting has improved gameplay, can hear foot steps and audio cues I’ve never heard before.

love this headset i get about 15 hrs before battery is at 5% warning, and love it cause i dont have to wonder how a chord got tangled up from taking headset off and putting it back the same way i took it off, like how!! but yeah make sure to download astro command center and this thing has great padding, comfortable, and great game sound and awareness check me out on twitch i use it when i play and stream @ https://www.twitch.tv/apexvolatil3

Had them s month so far. This is the Fourth headset(all different brands or models) I have purchased in the past year( very hard on equipment) and these are fast becoming my favorite. No stress cracks or dis coloration have formed in the usual spots, so I can tell already they're gonna be long lasting. Aside from the surprising sturdiness, the sound is beautiful, rich and accurate while being extremely simple and intuitive out the box( reading instructions is a last resort for me, I enjoy figuring s#&t out- that's why I fix stuff for a living) definitely recommend and worth every penny

Would rate them 5 stars if there wasn’t a high pitch ringing in the left ear but they are still worth it to me. Other than that they are the best headset. The sound is amazing. They fit my small head. And don’t give me a headache even with my glasses.

First let me state I am using these specifically for PC. What I Liked: The headset is extremely comfortable and I find it to be a good replacement for my Siberia 840. They fit well and dont squeeze to hard. Microphone quality is good. The mute when you push up the microphone is nice. Ear pads are magnetic and easily replaceable. Easy to use. What I didn't Like: For a headset at this price I would have expected the leather ear and head pads. While these are offered on Astro's website they are a bit pricey. Folding the microphone up does also adjust it out so you have to readjust every time. The base station shows you which eq slot your in but as you can change what is configured to each slot a screen would have been a better choice so it could display more information. Conclusion: Its not perfect but it is definitely a good pair of headphones.

Very good gaming headset with a great sound and a clear microphone. Great packaging and very easy to follow setup instructions. Buttons feel great and are easy to use. Pros: Great sound when set up properly Wireless with charging station Microphone side tone Dual console/pc connection for easy swap Ear cushions are very soft for long gaming sessions All of the pieces feel very high quality plastic Cons: Requires $40 hdmi to optical adapter/pass through to get optimal sound and chat mix functionality on PS5 The base connects to console/pc, so it only charges if the system is on or is using an “always on” usb connection Note: this is a personal con, but the headset does not fit perfectly on my above average size head. And as a result it seems like the hinge seems like it is getting additional strain which could lead to premature wear.

This headset is one of the best I’ve used. Sound quality is outstanding. Very comfortable headband and ear cups. Just two issues kept these from 5 stars. 1. Getting these on the charge base is tricky. You need to collapse the headband down or they don’t align with the contacts correctly. 2. Navigating the app is not intuitive and could be better (required for updating firmware and customizing Dolby Atmos presets).

3rd set of A50s in over 12yrs. These replaced my 6yr old 2nd gen set. I love this new set they kept the quality and comfortability of past models. This new gen has wireless charging and super long battery life. The sound quality and comfortability sets Astro apart from others. They're quite expensive but well worth it. I tried a pair of the a20s just to see the difference for a few weeks. There is no comparison.

This head set has some of the best features I’ve had in a headset: circumaural ear cups (sits around ear not on top), very comfortable earcups, adjustable stems are surdy and stay put, mic is flexible and good build quality, and the charge dock is well executed. Main things missing: I’ve had better audio fidelity in other headsets, the price is a bit high considering audio quality isn’t top not h, modes and settings weren’t clear out of the box, and there’s a few more points, but Best Buys feedback interface is hiding my windo so I can’t see what I’m typing.

Pros - Excellent audio quality - Spacial audio is the best I've had in a gaming headset - Incredibly comfy - Decent quality mic Cons - Software is a bit weird - Voice and Game audio channels are very weird to configure. Ex) Tap voice button, change volume, only voice is affected. Tap Game button, change volume, both voice and game are affected. - Using a stereo audio app (like VoIP software) with the Dolby surround setting turned on has such a massive quality difference I just leave it turned off - Had a weird issue for a while where the headset would just lose connectivity to the base and nothing I'd do would re-pair it except for doing some weird factory reset option.

The firmware needs to be updated before you plug it in for use, that mistake the first time cost me a few hours of headache and finally a swap out, however the second set was just what I wanted. Great sound, good comfort level and the batteries seem like they will last 15hrs, although it longer than I ever ran them. Also they turn off if you lay them down, and come back on when you pick them up, a feature I didn’t read about anywhere
