I had a pair of A50s for my Xbox one and they were very good. I got an Xbox S and they would work so I purchased these. They are even better! Great sound, comfortable for all day and they look good on top of it.

This headset is pretty good. The sound quality is good and you can game for hours on it without hurting your ears or giving you a headache. The only con I have for this headset is that the top part of the headset where it rests on top of your head. Always seems to break off and won't stay on. No matter how many times you try to click it together. I dont know maybe my head is just to big or something.

Very comfortable compared to other headsets. Sound quality is good. My favorite thing about this headset is the mic doesn’t pick up background noise like my last headset.

    Can't Beat the Comfort

I researched headsets and chose this one for the comfort. And it is very comfortable. I wear them for hours with minimal fatigue. Note that the rechargeable battery is not replaceable, and it will eventually wear out. This is a big minus, but for me the comfort makes it worth it. Sound quality and functionality are great for my needs (primarily voice chat, but music sounds decent enough). The recharging station is nice and convenient.

Wireless is so much nicer. I like that the ear cups aren’t the faux leather that crumbles. Comfortable too. Nice quality feel. Not very heavy. Lots of function. Only con would be that it doesn’t always connect to Xbox when you turn it on. You have to unplug and replug the usb.

Great headset but fix the loose mic issue!!

From using a wired headset to upgrading to a wireless headset is so convenient. I was able to walk into the kitchen down stairs for a drink without having to pause a movie or my games it’s like it reaches 100 feet or something On top of that, having a headset mount without cables is such a space saver which leads to a cleaner, sleeker space. And for gaming, the sound is crystal clear, the mic works exactly as advertised and it fits comfortably for long periods of time. The only issue I’ve had with this headset is the mic because loose over time and doesn’t stay in the position you put it but other then that it’s a great headset.

    That summer fling

Unfortunately, as all summer flings, my love for this headset came to an end. It started out wonderfully, the headset fit comfortably, had fantastic sound, had amazing features (game/voice controls) but 3 things did it in for me. 1) Price. This beauty was $300 bucks. On top of that, you need to spend another $40 bucks just for it to work on the PS5 (it needs an adapter for optical output, used to not be the case for PS4, but yea... thanks PS5 for taking that part out). 2) It does not charge while PS5 is on rest mode. Apparently the PS5 does not provide enough amperage while in rest mode to charge this bad boy.... so yea, only time you can charge it is when you're playing. Which is when I'd want to be using it, not charging it. 3) I was getting complaints that it was cutting out while I was playing from friends, when I'm all of 15 feet away in the same room. For a headset that cost me so much, I'd expect perfection. Granted, all of these things are kind of picky things, but for $340 plus tax? I'm expecting perfection here. Definitely not the case, so it went back. I can make due with a different headset with less features I suppose that didn't cost three times the price. You were fun while it lasted Astro A50...

Very comfotable and battery last for hrs. I always put them on the charging stand which looks great by the way in order to always have a full battery. The only thing that I didn't like was the way the game sound and party chat works. If you raise the party chat the game noise lowers. Overall I love the headsets

Many gamers and the like would talk up the astro gaming headsets as being the best around. I finally gave into the hype and parted with the 300+ dollars and tried them out for myself. I assumed before even trying them on that they would sound and feel the same as the cheaper gaming headsets I’ve had in the past, but I was so wrong! Trying them on for the 1st time I was hooked, the fit and comfort was spot on at least for my head shape and size plus I wear glasses and they still felt just fine. The sound quality was amazing while playing the latest and greatest cod: mw 2019. Every gun pop, explosion had amazing sound and wasn’t over boomy. The headset microphone was crystal clear allowing for clear concise communication in parties and in games. They are also 100% wireless with decent battery life of around 15 hours or so. My biggest regret was trying them out, now I’m hooked on Astro and I don’t think I can go back to a lesser quality gaming headset. I really hope they last a decent while before crapping out! Never owned Astro anything this is the first, I guess the ones I bought were generation 4’s new for 2019. I would highly recommend these.

Best sounding headset I’ve ever used! Very comfortable and the battery lasts a long time. You can customize the sound EQ with the Astro Command Center to get exactly what you want. Mic is decent and clear from what everyone tells me. Price is a bit high. Overall, best headset ever.

Amazing headset. It’s a little heavy, but I like that. Seems very sturdy and not weak and flimsy. The quality is great. Some do prefer a wired headset that plugs into the controller. But I love the wireless. It is a little expensive, but I highly recommend this if you can afford it.

The ease of use is nice. I do love that it has a base and connects that way. I wish there was Bluetooth, I think it would put it far ahead of other headsets. I also wish there was a wheel in stead of pushing the ear cup for chat mixer. I wish there was Live listening when adjusting eq settings for Xbox. It works for pc but not for Xbox. The ability to change out the ear cups and head cushion is also nice. It’s a decent headset. Probably tied for best with sound. Just wish it had more features for the price.

Quality audio on a light headset that feels comfortable after hours of play. I’ve had various models of A50s for years now and I’ve found them to be better than Steel Series. The highest end models sound roughly the same however the Steel Series is heavier and gets excessively warm.

I went through a few different brands (Sennheiser, SteelSeries, etc.) at the same price point to replace my older A50s from 2014 and ended up back with Astro. The sound quality of the other brands were thin and tinny which I found really surprising given the costs. These have awesome balance and are very comfortable for long hours. Down side for me is the microphone picks up on the sound of my gameplay even after adjusting the gate levels to the point my voice isn't loud enough to be picked up on. But it you're like the many others who use an open mic who don't give a hoot about background noise being picked up it'll be more than adequate.
