Also if you’re using a ps5 you gotta buy the ps5 adapter to use it with the console.

Great headphones worth the money

Ive heard several people applaud these headphones so why not. I replaced my 3 year old turtle Beach and was going to get the new gen but I've seen some complaints that they are not for big heads. I must say that these sound amazing and the ear cushions are incredibly soft and comfortable and find them easy to wear several hours at a time. Im so glad I spent the money on these

The major thing is you can not wear these A50s and charge them simultaneously. They will only charge on the base. Also the base using micro usb instead of usb C in 2021 seemed odd to me but not a big deal. My other main issue is the game volume and chat volume blend/balance is a button on the side that you push on either direction to turn the volume higher to either game or chat as opposed to each having its own dedicated wheel where you can adjust the volume independently like the 700s. So for the amount of money spent I’m still deciding if I think they’re better. But if you’re like an audiophile and really care about sound quality you’d for sure like these more

You really do get what you pay for. The gaming acoustics are top notch..... you can hear the softest of footsteps, getting the advantage on other players in-game. The game chat is clear, which is a must. The headset itself is well made, comfortable out of the box. I did spend the money on the upgraded cushions, but it was a preference. Overall, nice fitting headset. I hope this helps. - P

The padding along the top of the headset is removable, so it pops out sometimes, which is annoying. Sound quality is fantastic and is quite comfortable otherwise.

Astro A50 - Gen 4, great update to a classic

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my 2nd set of A50's, I was impressed by the oroginal Quality of my Gen 2 model, but it had major issues with frequency interference. I would avoid Gen 2 if you live in a densely populated area such as an apartment complex, or your experience will be based on who your neighbors are. 'Find my Phone' on iPhone uses the same frequency and is one of many possible problems you could experience causing the sound to cut out frequently. These Gen 4 model A50's have great updates and so far have been working flawlessly for a few months already. I am very pleased and wish I had upgraded much sooner. Using them side by side the Gen 4's are perfect. My Wife is happy using my old Gen 2's which I would rather die than go back to using again. New A50's are great, if you're having any doubts, just do it!!! Make sure its the newest model though.
