As you may or not know, Astro A50 Base Station function as its own sound card, so it can separate audio channels for PC. These audio channels are: Astro a50 (Game), Astro a50(voice) and Astro a50 (line in). Now the last one is mostly for streaming purposes; I use it to connect my phone and add some jams to my gaming session. Superb audio quality and customization. To the point: Astro A50 (Game) not working. Sometimes it does not appear as an option, so all audio (voice chat and game sound) goes to Astro A50 (Voice). It makes it all sound terrible and the manual balance between game and voice wont work. Sometimes Astro A50(Game) disappears and Astro A50 (line in) shows up. Causes error on my system indicating with a blue screen that a device did not close properly and then the headset stops working (no output, no input). Its been like this for a while now, I have tried a lot of tricks and methods one can find online, but nothing seems to fix this issue. I have been waiting for a firmware update but its not happening. It seems like Astro Gaming was left to die, at least for PC. Or maybe my headset is defective. Im sensing this started happening after the last firmware update, which was around the same time I upgraded my system, maybe its just a coincidence. I have been trying to manually downgrade the headset's firmware, but it seems like Astro took away support DL from their website. Now this is a high-end, very expensive gaming headset which I purchased with the intention of using it for at least 5 years before they start to break down, (I take really good care of my gadgets) Its only going to be a couple years by the end of this month (Jan 2022) and im probably out of warranty but if this is it for the top tier gaming headsets from Logitech, its a big fail as a company and I feel like Ive been ripped off. Overall the headset is great! However the headset cushion has popped out and needed to be glued twice. Since that is the only issue I have had with it, I can safely say it's a solid choice for a long lasting headset.

Great wireless headset! I use it on the Xbox Series X. Once you download the firmware update, all you do is plug and play but has awesome customizable settings if you decide the standard setup isn't for you. Highly recommend to any gamer that wants to go wireless. Super convenient not being tied to your controller. Superior sound quality as well!

Incredibly disappointed in this headset. I went out and bought this headset because it looked to be “higher quality”. I had an XBOX series headset that I loved but the mic broke off so I replaced it with this headset. From the moment I opened the box I was disappointed. The peace in the top broke off when I tried to put it on my head the third time. There is a constant noise in the headset at all times. When I talk to people on PC with my headset they say I cut in and out all the time. I would not recommend this headset to anyone and when people have asked me I tell them to go elsewhere. I have had this headset for over a year and every time I use them there is some problem or another.

The headset itself is great. The problem comes with charging it on the dock. It’s hit or miss whether it’s charging and there’s a lot of times when I think it’s charging and I come back to a dead headset.

Great sound quality, super comfortable. But the only issue is, the top head cushion kept falling out of place. We ended up returning it. But overall amazing headset, if you have money laying around!

Wow…they’re so comfortable you don’t even feel them. They also don’t make your ears sweat which is a huge plus. My favorite features unique to this gaming headset? Muting and unmuting by just putting your mic up or down, and automatically powering off when you take them off, and back one when you put them on

I purchased this headset for my PlayStation 4 Pro and eventually for my PlayStation 5. The sound quality is excellent and I have not had any issues with my microphone. Adjusting the audio levels between gaming and party chat is effortless. I wanted to give this 5 stars, but lowered it 1 star for two reasons: - Every so often, I'll hear a painful crackle come from the headphones. 99% of the time they sound great, but every so often, it's like nails on a chalkboard. - The headphones are not compatible with the PlayStation 5, unless you are willing to sacrifice sound quality and usability of the mixer. For full functionality, these headphones will require an optical to HDMI adapter.

Love the headphones. Advertise as ps5 compatible which it is but you can’t use them to their potential without the adapter that’s not included and an additional $40 :/ so yeah thanks a lot Astro for being money hungry. Anywho the headphones are phenomenal and very loud like veryyyyyy loud which i prefer if you don’t then i wouldn’t recommend. I wish it came with an audio 3.5 mm for when i use my headphones with my elgato but i just decided to use something different for my streaming and use these when I’m not streaming. They don’t charge if you have them plugged into the ps5 when it’s in rest mode and if you don’t have your pc set as to where the usb are powered when it’s in sleep mode. I don’t like that either and you can’t charge them in the outlets with a power cord lol. I have owned these for about 4 to 5 months now and I can honestly say they are the best headphones I have owened yet. Very very comfortable. No connection issues (playing on pc and ps5). Highly recommend anyone who is upgrading.

Amazing headset just had a couple things i personally didn’t like. The sound coming from the ear piece bleeds through without after market ear muffs and I feel the sound coming from the drivers could’ve been more clear if that makes sense. All and all though a very solid head set and it light weight so you can wear it for a long time. I did notice battery life wasn’t as great as I would have liked but it wasn’t bad as long as you make sure you charge it when you’re down every day.

I love the sound and the design. The microphone is really flexible to its easy to adjust. I just wish the settings were a bit easier to use. Also, I'm having a hard time adjusting background noise.

I’ve always had wired headsets, but decided to buy wireless ones this time. This headset doesn’t disappoint with the right settings. It took a lot to get used to the settings and mixamp on my Mac, but once I did it has been great. The only thing I wish is that there was an app and that you can test the settings while you have the headset on and connected to PC.

I've tried multiple gaming headphones, but these have far exceeded my hopes and expectations especially considering the cost. You definitely get what you pay for, and these are well worth the price. They are extremely comfortable, and the deep rich sound clarity brings you right into the game. Awesome!

Got my a50s a week ago to use primarily on my Xbox One X. At first my mic wasn’t picking up my voice and it was getting annoying, finally I decided to update them and then using the Astro command center I messed around with my settings and got my mic to pick up my voice just fine! So far I’m loving them. I changed very few settings overall, in the Astro software all I did was slide the mic slider all the way up and pick which noise gate worked best for me. On my Xbox I probably did the most work, I went into my audio settings and changed the steps it takes to register audio from my mic from 3 to 1, I then switched from tv audio to Dolby Digital and activated 3d surround sound. It took less than half an hour to do all these things.

Super Comfortable, Dynamic Sound, and the fact there wireless makes it easy

Good quality headphones. Some connection and microphone quality issues but overall they were really solid. They could be a little more comfy at the top part of the headset.

These are my first wiress headphones. I've had many other headphones that were wired but I wanted to go high end and wireless this time around. These are awesome very crisp sound and so much better than the ones I had before. There is alot of customization when it comes to adjusting the equalizers and volume by connecting it to the computer. The reason I give 4 stars is they were causing issues with party chat at least on the xbox but it has it cleared up but it does do it once in a while. As well if you want true noise Cancelation they sell the ear cups separately which for headsets that are 300 I feel like should already have but even with the default ear cups they are still good.

Far better than I have been expecting. I heard the PS5 doesn't like it, but I'm not lucky enough to try that out. In terms of the PS4, it is spectacular. Being able to customize the equalizer for different types of games or even game modes is awesome. SUPER comfortable and very sturdy. I'm not worried about it wearing down any time soon or breaking.

Purchased these for my 10 year old son. I pulled up a YouTube video so he could learn how to work them and all the features. He love them! They are worth the money. They are clear. He can walk all through the the house and still talk to his friends online. He can talk through his mic to search for stuff on YouTube. He love this mic.
