I’ve been an Astro user for 5+ years and upon the purchase of this headset, I was in love. I ordered the mod kit off of Astro’s website (still don’t understand why the stock headsets don’t come with this, with their high price point). After I had them up and running, I soon found out that every single time you boot up your Xbox you need to unplug and plug back in the base so the Xbox can recognize them. It’s such a massive inconvenience and still no word or update from Astro on the matter. They’ve even pulled their customer support from Twitter to communicate the issue...

I love the quality. Ever since switching to series x some times I get a digital noise effect that will hopefully be getting a update fix. Long batter life and sound great

I own two pairs. One for my wife for our xbox x. One for my pc. These are awesome. Sound quality. Mic quality is really great. All the astro features that it has are perfect. Only real complaint i have. Two really but one isnt bad. The pre set EQ settings all stink. To get the most outta these you need to adjust them for sure. And after about a year or so when the volume on the headsets up all the way you can hear static. But again. It can be turned down a little. It goes away and they are still way way loud

Some minor issues on the new series X console but it sounds absolutely amazing. Any issues I have had are fixed by switching from pc to xbox button on receiver. Battery life is more than I need. Target acquisition is better than Any other headset I have used. Little pricey but for something used everyday it was worth it.

I did a lot of research...and what I heard about these are correct. I've been using them for a month now. The sound is great and they are comfortable. If you don't believe me, go watch the many video reviews on these A50s. I don't regret these at all! I got them on sale at $250.

They are loud and could hear enemies from a far distance. I play COD and you can hear your enemies crouch walking, you know exactly where they are and when they are going to come out of a corner. Best headphones I’ve owned so far. Battery last a lifetime

Best headphones in the game, literally!! Fast charging, sound is absolutely incredible, they fit snug on your ears, don’t fall off and they are firm, long lasting and excellent quality.

I previously had the A10s which lasted me 2-3 years and the only problem was the wire and the padding around the ear started to wear and it hurt my ears if I wore them for more than a couple of hours but with the a50s they are wireless, lightweight, you can change the earmuffs easily, and I can switch from platform to platform quick and easy

I have the A40s, but wanted to go wireless. These are comfortable and still have great quality sound. They dont clamp your head and dont cause fatigue. Sure, a refresh would be nice but these are tried and proven.

This is my first Astro headset and it hasn’t disappointed. I upgraded from my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 and I couldn’t be happier. The charge base is sleek and looks very nice on my tv stand. I love that there are no wires hanging off of my Xbox to charge it. The battery lasts very long and the sound quality is excellent. Worth the $$ spent for sure.

The astro a50 gen4 runs really good i bought them one day ago the material feels good quality and they are really comfy.

I have had these Astro A50s for 1 year. If you are looking for some of the best headphones for gaming and aren't afraid to spend a little extra then look no further. The sound quality is excellent. If you like FPS shooters and need to hear the enemy from across map then these are for you. If you like watching movies on your PC/Console then these are also for you. There isn't too much you need to do to get these up and running and they are pretty much good to go right out of the box with the pre-set sound EQs you can choose from. But, if you like to really get into tweaking settings and getting everything just right then you can definitely do that with the Astro Command Center app you can download. And there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube to show you how along with being able to download different sound profiles that others have created if you need to. These are definitely top tier headphones of you're looking to get an edge over your opponent, looking to enjoy a blockbuster movie, or listen to your favorite music. I would definitely recommend these.

Good but not great. They could be better in so many different aspects, especially for the price tag, but they get the job done. The base station isn’t the best and the charging is terrible. The audio is fantastic. The drop off in latency is atrocious when you go more than 15ft away from the main station.

The best headphones and I have tried almost all of them. They are loud comfortable and work great on the Xbox series X. Also have not had any of the cutout issues they used to have I have had these three times and tried at least a other Wireless models high-end and low-end in these have always been the best

I'll try to keep this brief, but all-in-all, I really wanted to love this headset. The soft padding in the ears is a incredible (far superior to any Turtle Beach headsets), but there are three major downfalls for this headset. First, when you power it on, you will always have a slight hum at all times. This will obviously disappear once you start playing and other audio is present, but if you're at the home screen its very obvious. Second, this headset will essentially disconnect itself from the base station after each use. The only way to resolve this is by disconnecting the power from the base station and rebooting, then going through the pairing session again. And third (and by far the most frustrating), this is a Logitech device, so you will need to use their proprietary software to update the headset and base station periodically by connecting them to a PC. 99% of the time, the software will not recognize a firmware update is required, so you will need to locate that manually on Logitech's website (this is also hidden, as their firmware updates are under "legacy" software updates, regardless if it's current or not. Very, very difficult to navigate and find, let alone install. Once you manage to update the firmware, you will still experience the pairing issue regardless, considering Microsoft doesn't play well with Logitech devices. Again, I really, really wanted to love this headset, but now it's just become an ordeal with all the inconveniences any time I want to play with friends in a party. Save your money, stray away from this one. Sorry, guys.
