The cushions on that cover my ears are very comfortable as well which helps if the headset is going to be worn for a long period of time.

Excellent quality and very durable. All this however does come at a premium price, I did have the 1st gen of this headset that lasted me 4years and was still working but decided to part with it and upgrade, so I will say it is worth every penny.

Turtle Beach 700 is better

Great sound quality don’t get me wrong but the mixing controls for voice vs game volume are not nearly as good as the TB700.And the TB700 costed me half the money. The way the Astro mixes sound and voice it’s easy to accidentally mute your party or accidentally mute your game without knowing it. The TB700 lasted me 23 months before the volume control knob gave out. Probably from dust and cat hair.

Other headsets only real advantage is connecting to Bluetooth and multiple devices at the same time, but if you want the best gaming headset on the market…this is it.

Expensive headsets with some issues.

I had some issues getting it to work. Make sure to read the instructions! After I finally got it to work properly it sometimes randomly will not connect ot the base station. I have to cycle power on my X-box and disconnect / reconnect the headset base station to the X-box. Then it will start working. This is very frustrating! When everything is working it has good sound quality. Good volume control and easy selectable sound options. I would not buy these headsets again.

Apart from having the aesthetic charging station, you are able to fix your audio settings to your liking. I play Rainbow 6 Siege a lot and being able to adjust your settings to give you that extra advantage when hearing footsteps... these headsets are definitely pay to win

I love the sound quality but the headset stopped charging after a day and the top would pop off all the time. I would of loved to keep ‘em but they had too many issues.

But after trial and error i have to say im very happy with this product the only con i can say is that sometimes the headset will stop playing audio and i have to restart my playstation
