Posted .I apologize for the experience you have had with your USB-C Triple Display Docking Station. The docking station is compatible with MacBook Pro computers. Not having the driver installed properly can cause the docking station to not function correctly. Our JCD3199 USB-C Dual 4K HDMI Docking Station has a longer cable length. We also have other docking stations and hubs that require no driver to be installed if your computer meets the compatibility requirements. Need to buy separate power adapter. Not great

Posted .The USB Type-C power-in port on the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station allows additional power to the USB ports If you are using a high-powered USB device, as well as pass-through charge with Power Delivery supported by a computer. The JCD543P comes with a Power Adapter, not the JCD543.

Not so great with ASUS Q427

Even the Bluetooth universal receiver for my mouse goes for a toss. I have to re-plug the type C to get the monitors connected.

My new HP Spectre laptop keeps loosing connection with the external monitor and hard drive that I have connected to it. Not sure if it's the dock or the laptop. So far not a good combination.
