If you need a good docking station for a “work at home”, or are building a gaming set-up using a laptop as your base, this is more than capable of getting the job done.

Being able to plug in and use multiple devices is great. Sleek and hides very easy. Being able to see on a bigger monitor makesnworking easier.

I was not able to use the docking station because it requires the download of a driver. I work from home and wanted to use this on my work computer but I cannot install the driver because i don't have admin privileges. Typically, companies do not allow employees to install any kind of software for security reasons. I didn't see this requirement mentioned in the description so purchasers be aware and J5Create, please add it to the description for clarity (apologies if I missed it). I did see a question answered saying that the driver is only needed for the two additional monitors so this will work for one monitor. One other thing, this is not a docking station that you click your laptop in and out of like the old ones. This is basically just an extension cord with more ports and you will have to unplug it to take your laptop to another location.

I keep this one permanently on my desktop. Works well and let's me keep 2 monitors at once and all external ssds plugin when I'm at home. Only 1 cable to the laptop and its up and running and charging!

For starters... it has 3 display output PORTS, but you can only use a max of two of them at once. And MacOS does not support DisplayPort daisy-chaining, so the max number of displays you can drive on a Mac with this dock is 2. Second, this requires a driver to be installed. The displayport worked and it's paired HDMI port seemed to work without the driver on a Mac, but the other HDMI port did not. The driver also requires some strange permissions on Mac, which makes it feel like a fragile implementation which can break whenever Apple decides to fundamentally change things (which is very likely). Finally, even with the driver installed, macOS did not recognize the audio out, even with something plugged into it. This is a bummer. With those things in mind, everything else seems to work well, and this dock demonstrates what the power and versatility of USB-C can be, and is almost perfect. We just need to get back to the idea of plug-and-play, and cooperating with well-established standards.

because apple refuses to put ports on their macbooks, this docking station is definitely needed. i used to use the ones where you plug into the side but it looked awkward hanging off. having this dock station lets me rest the laptop on top and nobody seems to notice. all the ports work and the hdmi out to my tv works great

Nice device at a great price, but doesn't work with Chronebook

This docking station goes perfect for my laptop. Plenty of USB ports, display port and hdmi. The build quality is fantastic and I have not had a single issue. This docking station is extremely portable.

Very functional docking station. I can plug in most of my devices and because of its smart size, it is not really visible on my desk. All the slots are working and I am glad I choose it to make my ebook versatile but either connecting it to my monitor setup displays or using it alone.

This is a super-handy dock that allows all of our USB-c machines to connect to every monitor you could possibly have at home. And the stand like configuration really helps keep enough air running under the laptop to deal with heat issues. Nice product at a good price.

Very easy to use and setup, we have two setup as one is for the office and one for home. We are able to use them on our Mac pros and dell laptops as they both have thunderbolt adapters. Makes it nice and easy as one cable to the laptop gives us all Of the accessories including power.

Purchased for a remote office to connect 2 monitors and wireless keyboard & mouse. Really communicates well with each piece however the pass through power from the docking station to the laptop does not match what the specs say and what the laptop requires, even after requiring the laptop power supply being required to power the docking station.

Needed this to connect my HP Firefly Zbook 14 up to 2 monitors in my home office. Super portable, has a bunch of inputs and connections, and has been working great for me so far. Only complaint is that the connector cable is a little stiff but other than that this, this thing is perfect. I have also used it with my IPad Pro with no issues.

While it can be called a docking station, it is not well designed and does not have any way to secure it to a post, desk, or other surface that would enable you to stabilize it and get full advantage of the many plug-in sites. Also, I think it would be better if there was an upgrade to Avid Power so that you could be sure that you could adequately support all of the docks and the docking places that it has.

Allows we to hook up 1G Ethernet and external monitor and has extra USB ports to use. Ethernet stopped working but after emailing support they recommend i just reinstall download software and everything is working now. Every now and then external screen flickers but not that often, so otherwise i would give 5 stars.

Download the driver and the usb-c is great.use it with msft surface pro 7. Will not work on 6 or lower surface. What irks me is having to buy a separate power supply. Just add one and increase the price. Save us some time!!!

It works to make a station with expanded screens. You can hook up many devices and it makes it easy to plud in and go to work.

Perfect for my home office set up. Easy to use and sufficient number of ports to connect all my devices.

I really like this. Makes my life easier switching from my personal computer to my firm's laptop. There are so many slots. Could've gotten a smaller one, but I know my future self will appreciate the forethought of this one!
