I purchased this product to use with my new laptop as I knew I would need extra USB ports. I was traveling for work the first time I unboxed to use it and when I connected to the laptop I received a notification that I would need a power supply as my laptop was not sufficient. I was unaware that this would be the case and did not want to buy the optional power cord, so I returned to Best Buy.

Very easy to install and works great would recommend to anybody needing one

It does work as advertised as I was able to connect to 2 monitors with my 2020 Macbook M1 but it's not perfect. There is noticeable lag on both monitors and sometimes after waking from sleep, one monitor will not work, requiring me to reconnect and power cycle the monitor. This dock is significantly cheaper than alternatives and is worth it.

Unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my HP 1035i laptop. I returned it and got the J5create Dual HDMI Mini Dock USB 3.1 hub/pd 2.0 which is compatible and works great. I contacted J5create tech support and they guided me to the correct compatible item. Not sure how to check compatibility before buying. Tech support was great.

So easy to set up and so many options for adding other devices and connecting to my lap top. Just what I was looking for when I wanted to "enlarge" my lap top screen but wasn't sure what I needed to make that all happen. It is just plain slick!

This docking station looks like designed for 15,6" MacBookPro. It is not only a docking station, but also comfortable stand for the laptop. Sufficient number of ports. The only weak thing is the process of installing driver for external displays and their graphics. I'm glad I got it.

Haven't used yet but seems nice will set up once i get my office together

This docking station works very well. Only intermitted a few times buy overall a good purchase.

Works great allowing me to easily go from my home office to my office with just plugging and unplugging one cord. Great.

Works great with a good 100w power supply (not included) attached. We use two 24" monitors and an array of USB peripherals and no issues. A nice feature is that it sits under the hinge on your laptop or tablet making space for some cooling air and keeping the device at a nice angle. Great product and I do recommend it.

So far, this has performed as expected. I purchased this docking Station device because of all the variance of chargers and interfaces available- especially with the USB-C Triple display for multi monitor setup. This device plugged and played with Windows. If using it with Mac devices and laptops it will need the (web-based located) drivers downloaded on to it. The USB built into this device will not run the regular USB Mac SuperDrive from Apple as they are not a powered USB input.

I have an HP Omen 15 from like 2021/2-ish. I recently needed a docking station for it and happened to be at my local store looking at all of the different options. This one seemed to be the best one and nothing on the box stated that it would not be compatible with my device. It wasn't until I had gone through about an hour of setup, troubleshooting, and research that I found out that this item would not be compatible with my laptop. J5Create needs to be a lot more clear in their product descriptions, Quick Start guides, and website to show what devices will and won't be compatible with this item. So disappointed. I will have to return this item and I will not be trusting this brand until they clear up this issue. Shame on you J5.

This docking station had everything I needed to hook up my two displays. I had been looking for a dock with both an hdmi and vga output. But apparently, it does not work as intended with macbooks. It was all over j5create's website but there was no indication before purchasing. Otherwise, this would have worked well.

This device enabled me to connect my logitech camera problem free. now going from the office to home is just one simple connection and I am able to use my two monitors (and laptop monitor), keyboard, mouse, external drive, and speakers with just one connection and no issues!

I am using this with a Dell XPS laptop, tied to an Epson ET-8700 printer, a full size mechanical keyboard, and a large screen monitor. It was easy to set up and it works well. The only reason I can't give it more than three stars is that it requires tethering to a separate power cord; I would think it would be a lot more convenient if there was pass through power on this.

Great way to expand your ports. It would be better if it had a port or plae to plug in my laptop.

Nice, easy to use, seems well designed, no issues so far.

I prefer this to the type that plugs into the usb-c ports on the side of the Mac. This uses only one port, but supplies two usb-c inputs, Allows pass through charging, and has two HDMI inputs... a must for my photo work. I do like the way it rests under the laptop. This tips the keyboard slightly, which seems to make typing a bit easier on the wrists. All in all; Im pleased. Could be cheaper, but then again; everything could be.

Love this dock. I only use J5 Products and this one is the best by far. I mounted on the bottom side of my desk because i despise showing wires, Fantastic product.
