It's made it easy for me to be able to use a wireless keyboard, better webcam, second monitor, and external speakers. All I have to do is plug in the USB-C to the laptop I need at the time, and I'm all set. I don't have to move anything else on my desk other than the laptop.

The reason it's not a 5 star review is that the power pass-through is not at the exact spec of my laptop so I get a weird warning on reboot. It seems to charge fine, but the warning is annoying.

A headache to set up, but it works

If you're on macOS make sure to read the instructions on their website carefully as their driver is not compatible with all versions. Once I got the driver installed on a compatible macOS version (Catalina), I was able to connect 2 monitors to my laptop before the connections started dropping. Took some more time to get it to finally work again.

This docking station does require software drivers to operate fully. Mac OS Catalina has added additional security features that will add steps when installing third party software drivers. Once the software drivers are allowed this docking station can support up to three additional monitors. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the docking station.

Although easy to set up and connect laptop and additional monitors, sometimes both of the monitors freeze up and the mouse is no longer able to move through the attached monitors. The only thing I can do to correct is unplug the laptop from the docking station and then reconnect. I don’t know what else to do but I’m looking for the answer.

I haven't unplugged it in a while because usually when I go to plug it back in, my laptop doesn't remember my setup and sometimes won't display properly but that is probably an issue with the laptop, not the docking station. I have 3 monitors, a printer and speaker system connected to it.

Great for using multiple monitors.

This definitely helps with running multiple programs and have files open and visible all at the same time. This also gives me extra USB ports.

I tried on one to no avail, then a second where it performed as expected, and finally on a third where it failed.I run MacBooks in three different rooms. I wanted to try this out before buying two additional docking stations. I did not buy more of these.

Because the dock requires DP alt mode/Thunderbolt 3 capabilities for full functionality, you may not obtain the full potential of the station. It makes additional monitors or devices so easy to connect. For newer thinner devices having limited connections built in, this really puts on the finishing touch.
