The new 4K Blu-ray player is one of the best ever Panasonic keep up good job

I love IT! easy to set up. Small No Skips or Freezes And have Biu-Ray for later on. Very Happy With I bought it.

I got this over a similarly priced Sony that had Dolby vision, even though this one doesn't. I read that that Sony was buggy and I'd regret it. This player was purportedly an amazing player that gave no issues, and so far it has lived up to that. Movies look great and even Blu rays seem to get upscaled. No DV but this is a good buy at the price point.

This 4k player is really good, got rid of my sony 700 that kept freezing and skipping for this. No issues, great bang for the buck and panasonic makes a great 4k player

Excellent 4K Blu-ray player have had no issues with it so far the options that it gives you to change and monitor great. The playback quality of Blu-ray disc are awesome and it provides a lot of data information to see about what settings are on. Fits perfectly in small spaces.

Clean picture, the upscaler in this player is phenomenal. The disc drive is a bit noisy, but I’m also sensitive to such things. Have found no issues with skipping or freezing on discs, very reliable. Remote is easy to use and simple. Overall a great purchase, especially if you can get it on a sale. Only downside is lack of Dolby Vision, however the vast majority of my discs aren’t even 4K UHD, so I don’t see this as a major downside.

Like most Panasonics, this blu-ray player is top notch. Couldn't ask for a better image quality or sound. To me, image quality is first and foremost, the main reason for upgrading to blu-ray and 4k blu-ray viewing over streaming. And 4K blu-ray image quality is the very best consumer video available. Streaming services, as good as they are, still simply can't match it. And this Panasonic doesn't disappoint. No regrets here.

4K quality of this UHD Bluray player is superb, quality is one of the best I've seen at this price range (and it has the same quality as it's more expensive versions as long as you don't need Dolby Vision...great cost saving option for owners of Samsung QLED TV's, (which don't support Dolby Vision). Also the HDR Optimizer feature is great for fine tuning tone mapping in HDR10 when needed.

Works as expected. No stalling, no skipping. If you don't think you need a physical media player, then you don't. You'll be fine with streaming movies. But if you care about good audio and high quality video, you must get the 4k uhd discs. It's night and day difference compared to streaming.

This Panasonic albeit their lower end model has the same HDR tone mapping capabilities as there top tier player. Sound and video through this player are exhilarating and in my home theater provides an experience on my Samsung q80t that tops the theater. The lack of Dolby Vision may turn some off but I challenge you to discern the difference. HDR pope and color reproduction is exquisite

This budget deck does a great job on 4K discs and upscaling standard DVD and Blu-ray. A nice bonus was the sound. Dialog is much crisper and clear than from my older Blu-ray player. The remote is somewhat disappointing in that it can’t learn to control my LG TV. I have not found that Panasonic offers a mobile app either. But for the money, this is a great piece of hardware.

I have had quite a few 4k players but this is the best of them all. It doesn't have dolby vision but this one really makes the hdr shine with the hdr optimizer. It seems to me, to be just as good as dolby vision. It runs quite and loads quickly.

I selected this player because it decodes multiple legacy formats of dvds and blu-rays plus it said it had Amazon Alexa voice control features according to the bestbuy app and website. The user interface for streaming platforms seems dated and limited due to the number of streaming platforms unavailable to download and view. The sound and the color are good, but I cannot say that I'm impressed with the upscaling of older dvds or blu-rays. That could be contributed to the original master the disks were made from. My biggest disappointment is that the Alexa voice control features are no longer supported and in fact have been deactivated by Panasonic prior to my purchase per the link provided for activation of these features contrary to the advertising bestbuy continues to use for this product weeks after I notified them. If you are looking for a player that has Alexa capabilities look elsewhere.

This small player packs a punch! Love the compact design and this player upgrades both my dvds and Blu-ray’s so well.

Love this player. The DVD upscaling is a great feature and bluray/4k look great too.

NOTE: I bought a used player so my review might not apply to brand new ones. Even though the used player was said to be in good condition, the apps only work half the time (Sometimes the video and audio on YouTube are out of sync, and Amazon Prime and web browsing crashed 80% of the time I tried using it). Certain websites aren't compatible with the web browsing app, such as Spotify, so YouTube is your only bet for listening to music online. I also tried playing a CD and it didn't show the titles of the songs either, just Track 1, Track 2, etc. I say this for those who are interested in testing out the disc playing features. Beyond that, it works quite well and displays really nice resolution. The disc playing works and Netflix seems to have no problems which is great! However, unless all the other flaws are absent or much less persistent when bought as brand new (trust me, the constant crashing on Amazon Prime is so frustrating it made me avoid using the app here altogether), I would not recommend it.

So happy to be able to watch my movies and listen to my CDs. Afforatable DVD-CD player.
