The price. I know. It hurts. It really hurts. But I gotta say if this is the price I have to pay for these then so be it. They're amazing. I continually see reviews giving this a 4 out of 5 stars but when you read why it's always because of two things 1) the carry case is ridiculous and 2) you need to buy another wire if you want to use a cable to connect to a 3.5 mm jack. The loss of a star has nothing to do with the quality build and the exceptional sound with a perfect balance between low, mid and highs. And the ANC is superb but the passive sound mode makes it feel like you're not wearing anything at all. You could hear a mouse burp. You only live once. Why not experience everything at a ten. This is a ten. Enjoy!

ive have both Bose and Sony but im really all apple except gaming and these where 399 cause they are trying to get rid of the lightning connector love the headphones wore them on a 14 hour flight I do wish though apple would have done something better chip wise with the new version but 150 off for slightly different color and lightning versus usb c for the same headphones same sound everything ill take it only thing that sucks its the case

I love these headphones. It took my wife about a week to take them from me so I bought a second pair In blue, which she then took and gave me back the space gray. So convenient for watching movies or show at home or on the go. I use them with my Apple TV to not disturb anyone late at night. Also great for travel. My wife and I both wore ours and watched movies on a 6 hour flight. 2 sets of headphones paired to one iPad !

Best sound, good quality, a little heavy on the head but an amazing and comfortable phone

The sound is good and they feel fine to wear. They’re not good when running or doing anything intense but fine for walking or working out. After a while I’ve noticed the battery life getting worse but that’s natural for any device

Expensive but I do not feel cheated. These headphones connect between Apple products seamlessly. The transparency mode feels like nothing is on my ears. The functionality of the knob and button are perfect for easy use. When in Noise Cancellation, the world around you goes silent. I do not have to raise the volume to drown out outside noise. The sound is very clear with great instrument separation and a wide sound stage. I really recommend listening to movies. It is a home theater on your head. Playing music of all genres has been enjoyable. These are the best headphones that Apple make. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I was a little concerned about the price, but they are definitely worth it. Some over the ear headphones make my ears sore, but not these, they are so comfortable. I love the sound and noise canceling.

When people say the sound quality of these headphones are good, it's true. I love the ease of use and connectivity which makes it hassle-free. The noise cancelling mode does its job and makes for the perfect accessory when travelling or studying. There are a lot of different modes which is great for customizing to your wants and needs. They're super comfortable too and can be worn literally all day without any discomfort. Only complaint I have is that they feel a bit heavy and ride down my forehead when I do tedious activities but other than that, I don't have any problems with it! However, they are a bit pricey and there are other headphones worth taking a look at when it comes to price.

Must have if you are an Apple nerd. AirPod Pros are fine for listening to music or podcasts, but if you want to beef up the sound go with these. When I really want to hear all the background in a particular song or when watching TV shows and movies, these are my go to. They are a little bit heavy, but not uncomfortable on the head. I wanted to save a little on the price so I bought mine as Open Box. The only issue was that the previous owners Apple ID was still linked to the headset. I had to do a factory reset in order to set it up for my Apple ID. Easily connects to my other Apple products. I've used Beats in the past and these feel more durable and better quality.

I love the noice cancellation feature and the sound quality is great. My only reservation with the headphones is that my head is on the smaller side and it doesn’t sit as nicely on my head and feels like it’s a bit loose especially if I’m moving my head a lot. For the most part that doesn’t really bother me. I do go to the gym a lot and I wish that the headphones were sweat proof. I feel like if I’m paying almost $500 for headphones they should be sweat or water resistant. I definitely would not wear them for runs because the sweat would probably break the headphones but I would wear them for light lifting. Wouldn’t recommend them for the gym if you sweat a lot but if you’re using them for study or casual purposes they’re perfect. The battery life is great. They last me days before I have to charge them (I usually only use them 1-2 hours a day). They connect instantly when I put them on. Initially when I first wore them it felt weird because there was so much space around my ears as the headphones don’t tightly encase them as most normal headphones do but I got used to it and I actually like this a lot better because I can wear them more comfortably without my ears getting tired. I wouldn’t say they’re worth almost $500 but they’re the only headphones that have that sleek look with good quality on the market so if that’s what you want then go for it !

Let me just say if your traveleing on a plane . Its great for your ears for sure ! I loved them as soon as i put them on , i reccomend them . These block out sound for sure !!! I have always called them my poppers

I normally can’t wear headphones for very long, but these are really comfortable to wear while working out. The sound quality is definitely the best out of any headphones I’ve tried. The noise cancellation is very good, and the transparency mode makes it sound like you’re not even wearing headphones. One critique I’d give is that they’re pretty insulated, so your ears may get a bit sometimes, but I’ve mostly gotten used to it. They’re also able to connect to non-Apple devices, but the sound quality is significantly reduced. Hoping to see that change if/when Apple makes a new model

I’ve been using the Apple AirPods Max for a while now, and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is incredible, with clear, rich audio that makes every song and podcast a pleasure. The build quality feels premium, and they pair effortlessly with my Apple devices. Overall, I think they’re worth every penny if you’re after topnotch headphones.

I'm often fickle when it comes to headphones and was expecting a LOT from this set. I'm floored - these are phenomenal. They create a large, open soundstage with amazing detail across all of it. They capture the subtlety of a snare drum and symbols next to a piano (you can almost hear the keys pressed) and a dynamic singer all at once. They are THE standard for "luxury listening" and as close as you can get to audiophile quality without the need for external amp and impractical, open back headphones. I also like them in the "neutral" setting with no noise cancellation, just passive, which is a great feature. The negatives? The case is ridiculous (and useless for protection). Likewise, the price is eye watering; Had they not been on sale, I wouldn't have taken the plunge. Ultimately, so happy I bought these with a tinge of regret: they've ruined my other headphones as they come nowhere close!
