Charging is annoying but otherwise great sound quality

By this point you know about the AirPods Max. Are they overprice? Yes, do they sound amazing? Also yes. I got these as an open box item but since I'm a TotalTech member I get 2 years of Apple Care. The price was too good to pass. I travel a lot and I have the AirPods Pro, I didn't think I would use these ones but I do. Obviously they sound better and the ANC (active noise cancelling) its a lot better too. The ANC comes very handing when flying. the battery last all day, Ive gotten over 20hrs of battery life during an international flight. If you have to eat soup for a month just to afford these then don't do it, but if you have the extra cash then go ahead they are worth it.

The AirPods Max are amazing! The sound is crystal-clear with deep bass, and the noise-cancellation blocks out everything. They’re super comfortable for hours, and switching between my Apple devices is seamless. The build feels premium, and the design is sleek. Definitely worth it for the quality!

I didn’t know I could love a pair of headphones so much. They are so comfortable I actually slept in them while on an overnight flight from coast to coast. The noise canceling feature almost completely shut out the loud plane noise so I could relax and sleep. I’ve found they help me a ton while traveling to block out all the noise of crows and my anxiety was so much better this last trip. I’m obsessed and now one of those people that always walks around with headphones on.

I’ve had regular AirPod pros, and these are a game changer when working out. No longer do I have to worry about an ear bud popping out while on a run or bike ride. The charge lasts long, the sound is just as top notch as the other AirPods.

These headphones were a perfect solution to my broken old Airpods. These are really good for calling and being able to still listen to "outside" noises. They are also comfortable and fits nicely around my ears. The quality isnt anything special but i honestly just needed some new headphones and not earbuds so it doesnt really matter to me.

These are fantastic except I wear glasses and the weight of the headphones pushes my glasses bands into my skin above and behind my ears to the point of getting a headache and actual pain. I don’t wear contacts often. Wish there were a better way because I love the headphones!

This are the best headphones I've bought. They sound super. I recommend buying this headphones.

We replaced the battery under warranty after 11 months. That was a little disappointing

The sound quality is very good, and I LOVE the noise cancelling feature. I work in a parts department so it can get very loud and I have sensory issues on top of that, so knowing I can turn it on is awesome. The battery lasts long and I dont have to charge them very often. The only thing is that they can get scratched easily and makeup can rub off on the cushions, but I got silicone covers to protect them. Some say they are heavy but I don’t notice nor does having them on bother me. They are very comfortable and provide an exellent experience IMO.

Pretty good headphones for gym use good sound quality and battery life

My Space Gray ones came today. While they will never replace my Audeze LCD 3 with my Apogee Duet DAC these sound wonderful and brings the best listening experience with the Apple line. Music, movies (Spatial Sound), phone calls/FaceTime all sound excellent and the sound cancelling is the best I’ve heard. I have a huge head and these are very comfortable without being too tight and I wear thick frame glasses.. Maybe I’m used to my heavy Audeze. These are worth the $550, essential for Apple lovers. They feature neutral sound and a wide soundstage. The dynamic EQ option can be turned off in the Apple Music app. These will certainly be my travel headphones, perfect for flying and long passenger rides. My AirPods generation two now will be my activity and fitness sound option. Also, they sound even better connected to my Pono player with 3.5mm to Lightning.

The AirPods Max offer excellent sound quality, active noise cancellation, and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. They are comfortable with a sleek design and have a battery life of up to 20 hours. However, they are quite expensive but worth every penny!

First they look great. Second they feel great. Third they sound great. They connect seamlessly to all of my Apple products and the battery life is terrific. I Would recommend to anyone wanting the same quality as the AirPod Pro, only these won’t fall out of your ears. I like that you can accessorize and make them fit your style.

Amazing sound and comfort, I was somewhat was on the true sound coming out especially sjnce uve been a JBL customer for many years. I biught this for my daughter's bday present and she was truly blown away!!!!

First off, These sound great. Crisp voices, large soundstage, solid base and balanced sound. I own some expensive wired Sennheiser's I use for late night movie watching and also some bluetooth Sennheiser Momentum's over ear for casual use. The AirPods Max approach the wired Sennheiser's as far as sound stage and blow the the Momentums out the water. I now have those up for sale on Ebay. Everything just works seamlessly which make the user experience great. I would frequently have to repair the Momentums with my Apple TV and the connection would drop sometimes. The AirPods Max just automatically works with all my devices. Haters will tell you that $550 is too much for headphones. Well that is drop in the bucket for good audio and is far from expensive. Your paying for fit in finish, sound quality and user experience. Highly recommended!

Fit is amazing. Noise cancellation is the best i have ever experienced. Very light weight on head. Holds a lot of heat on the ears. I used these to sleep and block out ambient noise. Moisture gathers and causes reverberation that will wake you up. Have to dry them when this happens but outside of that blocks out all sound and provides excellent sleep. If you have them paired with multiple Apple and Android devices connectivity can be an issue. Device randomly connects and disconnects, have to turn on Bluetooth on other devices to prevent this.
