Comfortable design and seems to be built with solid durable materials. The sound clarity is incredible and by far the best noise cancellation headphones I’ve ever owned. Only downsides are the funky carrying case and premium price.

Love it! I have severe 24/7 migraines and have been searching forever for comfy headphones that won't make it worse. The previous reviews about the heaviness of these made me think they'd be bad, but I tried them on in-person and was blown away. The price tag is definitely hefty, but the audio quality is A+ and the comfort is amazing - I hardly notice I'm wearing them when they're on (whereas my Beats become unbearable after an hour, max, with a bad migraine).

I was skeptical on hearing from others that these are heavy and clamp tightly. I decided to risk it and if I don’t like it, I can return it. Thankfully, that isn’t the case as these are one of the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn! My ears also don’t get hot since Apple uses a breathable material. I like that the ear cups are replaceable as well. Noise canceling is phenomenal and I docked one star off as sound quality is good but not great. I’d also like to see equalizer settings for something of this price. Other than that, I’m going to keep these due to their seamless connectivity with other Apple devices and comfort.

I purchased Apple headphones for my son for his birthday in February 2024. He hasn't taken them off since. I think that he's ignoring me when we are together but its the noise canceling that is so good he can't here anything but the music. Cool!

Just awesome!!! A must have for noise cancellation head phones. Nice light feeling when wearing and they stay in place when even doing a light jog.

I purchased these mainly for the noise cancellation, and the fact that I dislike earbuds. Both the noise cancellation and transparency modes work very well. They're comfortable, and less fatiguing than expected over long stretches, given the weight. They also (as expected) work very well for those with multiple Apple devices.

The sound and connection is great but the pressure on the ears made me return them

Great fit & comfortable, ok sound, just wish there’s an app or buttons for controls or sound options. I’ve had other headphones that are less expensive but with better sound quality & easy connectivity functions.

Purchased these for my wife who works around a lot of noise. While she's working she likes to binge watch every show ever created, so enter the Airpod Max. She's an Apple person through and through, so these connected effortlessly for her and provided excellent sound quality whilst cancelling unwanted exterior. She's a believer. Give them a shot for sure.

I love these earphones! Too bad I should of got them in the pink red color! They don’t get dirty the moment you put protection. Different modes you can set up for EQ as well. Noise cancellation is good. Very sturdy and charge fast!!!! Best investment yet

However, dislike the aux port connection (usb-c to aux). This creates a pain when traveling and was advised only Apple’s adapter will operate. Bought a few brands from various stores.

I absolutely loved this headphone but I returned it Too heavy if Apple went plastic like everybody else did I would’ve definitely kept the headphone but I’m very sensitive to weight so having a heavy metal headphone on my head all day long hurts my head some other people don’t experience this But the sound quality oh man I can tell you they are the best! The bass the spatial audio just makes this headphone sound so great while watching movies it almost like your there, sound is crisp clear the bass is deep and clean, I would 10/10 recommend this if your fine with a heavy headphone but I gave it a 4 star due to price and the weight

Excellent sound, noise cancelling, and ergonomics. I have owned the Sony XM3 headphones for several years now and they have definitely proven their value but the Airpods Max is truly a step above. If you own an Apple device the seamless communication between them is also another benefit over the Sony XM3's. The only complaint I would have is the same gripe everyone else has, the Airpod Max's case is poorly designed and offers poor protection.
