Ok. I waited 7 months before I purchased these. I looked at countless YouTube reviews and other videos. I couldn’t see them in person, or listen to them anywhere. So when the price went down to $479 that was the button pusher for me. Build quality is top notch, pairing and matching up with the Apple ecosystem was on par. Sound stage was awesome and at times I was in awe of the different things I hadn’t hear while listening to songs I’ve listened to before. Transparency mode was the best I’ve heard on the any headphones I have so for. I have the Sony XM4, Skullcandy crush ANC. And I’ve listened and used plenty of Bose products. However…. Having said all of that here is why I took them back. They are too heavy and super uncomfortable around my ears, to the point where they made my head hurt. I purchased a carrying case, ear cup protectors, both front and back and a head band protector. I really miss them, but the clamping pressure was just too much to bear. Maybe a third party will come out with an ear cup that can help even out the clapping pressure, but again. It was just too much Last… I wish they were louder. Not by much, but there were times where the music was hitting the sweet spot and I’d want to turn it up and there was nothing else left. They also needed to be louder for movie watching. I might purchase them again (open box) and then they would be worth the trouble. But after tax they were still $523.

I’ve had my beats for a few months but was really wanting these instead. Finally bit the bullet and I enjoy these way more than my beats. The noise cancellation is worth it plus they don’t feel as tight or heavy on my head. I love these and the apple ecosystem.

So happy with the AirPod max. The sound is incredible and the build quality is unmatched.

Very good airpods, i like how they suction on my head and surprisingly they dont slip off my head when i work out. They do absorb smell if you work out in them and oils which is why i got a cover on them and theyre great!

These headphones are outstanding in both sound and build quality. The soft cushioned ear pads provide exceptional comfort, preventing any discomfort during or after use.

Brilliant! Great sound. Very comfortable, simple connectivity to the Appleverse. Button controls instead of hard to find and use sweeps and taps. Downsides - no USB-C adapter; silly case leaves $600 headphones far too exposed; the only bi-directional cable available (to feed sound to the 'phones for airline use etc) comes from Apple for nearly $40!

In heaven, there’s headphones are wonderful, easy to use & the sound quality is amazing. I can now mow the lawn & actually hear the songs lyrics. I won’t have to worry about my earphones dropping on the ground and getting torn up. I absolutely love the noise canceling feature, it drowns out the copier noise quite well as I sit directly next to a busy work copier.

Not an audiophile review, but a casual listener review. Sound is great. It connects really easily between iphone and ipad. I havent tried connecting it to Apple TV but I read that should work as well. Noise-cancelling is great also. Also bought a pair for a friend who loves them for working out with.

I love the color and you can hear the music perfectly i recommend.

Purchased these for my daughter for Christmas. It was shipped to her in NY. Actually got there early by about a week. After trying my headphones, she definitely want a these. She works at home and she plans to use them for her job. She really like the the green color. Got a great price at Best Buy.

First off. These are very good. However they are not good enough for me to keep them for the price. The Sony wh‑1000xm4‘s are pretty much just as good and about half the price. I had the XM4s first and loved them. Then when the Max’s came out I really wanted them as I am a huge Apple guy. However I just couldn’t justify that price with already owning what many reviewers call the best NC headphone out there. However eventually the price came down and I had $50 Best Buy card so I figured between that and being able to sell my XM4s for around $200 it was worth the jump. 2 months later I still have both headphones and now I’m about the sell the Max’s. To most people there is absolutely no difference in sound quality or noise cancellation. The Apple’s look cooler however they are not as comfortable for longer periods of use. Really even shorter periods. What makes them look cool and feel more like a luxury item also makes them heavy and less comfortable in comparison to the Sonys. Also Dolby Atmos on Apple Music which was one of the reasons I thought these would be better is absolutely overhyped garbage. There are some albums mastered for it that sound cool but I’ve got thru about everything they have for it that I’d like on Apple Music and to me none of it sounds improved. Just a different mix that typically is quieter even at loud volumes and also reduces the vocal mix. So here’s the deal. I can’t vouch for anything Bose or anyone else has put out recently but my strong advice is if you’re in the market for a great pair of BTNC headphones save your money and go with the XM4s. Heck but a pair for your wife too for the price of one pair of Apple AirPod Max. Sorry Apple. I love you and will typically pay a premium price for your products but not this time. These just aren’t good enough.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using the AirPods Max. I’ve been able to take them with me and use them in a number of different environments including traveling, working out, and just leisure time.

Bought these about 2 months ago and I love them. Took on flights and drowned kids and plane noise alike completely out. I was amazed how well it did. Sounds are great and love the quality of construction. I bought some covers for the ear parts just to make sure I don’t scratch them up.

I'm sure a lot of people have negative feelings about this product based on the price but if you live in the Apple ecosystem the ability to move from iPhone to iPad to Macbook seamlessly via the H1 chip. This one feature is worth the price for me based on my home office use. The headphones deliver very clean audio and the microphones are top notch. I use them everyday and enjoy them. Recommended.
