I do also own the Sony XM4 headphones that are virtually untouchable in the noise cancellation game. My conclusion? While looking flashy and unique, These are significantly heavier than any other headphone out there and do not blow the competition away in any category except for the price tag. The case alone made me want to punt them back to the return aisle. Sony and Bose are the still the king of all around noise cancelling headphones.

Apple Max Headphones
