I love these. The noise cancelling mode is perfect when uou need peace and quiet. Great for meditating , and obviously taking in content. I rarely watch movies alone hut they are great for that. Love using them on the plane or just at home rewatching some Star Trek. If you are in apple’s ecosystem, these are the headphones to buy. Pair with your iphone and use them anywhere else: your mac, ipad,  tv and watch. Its all seamless and the sound quality is great. I know that there are more premium headphones that maybe sound better but for me and my use, these are perfect and make my life easier and more enjoyable. I dont have to switch inputs or do any setup. Just put them on and enjoy.

I purchased these mainly to watch movies and for air travel (when I start flying again). I previously owned the Bose 700, and bought AirPods based on positive reviews knowing that I could return them if they didn’t live up to the hype. After using them for several days, I found them to live up to the hype and to be worth the extra cost due to the following reasons: (1) Comfort - AirPods fit better on my head and don’t squeeze as much. Plus my ears don’t get hot and sweaty since the earcups breathe. (2) Noise cancelling - With a better fit and larger earcups, I get a better seal which improves noise cancellation. (3) Ability to replace battery - unlike other wireless headphones, Apple offers a battery replacement program for $79. Not sure what to do when the batteries on Sony and Bose headphones start to wear out. (4) Apple Integration - Perfect integration and automatic device switching with Apple products. (5) Controls - I love the dial volume control much better than touch controls which are finicky and don’t allow precise volume adjustment. (6) Sound - I really prefer the sound over the Bose 700. Very balanced and no detectable distortion even at full volume. (7) No detectable audio lag when watching movies on iPad or Apple TV (Bose 700 exhibited noticeable lag) Yes, the Smart Case sucks, but there are a number of aftermarket cases available for around $20 that give total protection when storing in a backpack or luggage. A pricey product, but I believe you get what you pay for with the AirPods Max.

Couldn’t wait to get these was able to use my card 12months no interest so I’m only paying for the item itself Hav been wearing ever since I got them really blocks out other sounds even my mom yelling for me down the hall haha Great All Around sound!!

I am first to wake every day and like to watch movies. I miss having a dedicated theater room at our previous house and wanted to simulate some of the surround sound I had there without having out Atmos sound bar waking everyone. I’m very pleased with what Apple has done with Atmos and Spacial Audio with the latest AppleTV and these AirPods Max headphones. I now have a more more cinematic experience. I watched portions of James Bond No Time to Die and Spider Man Far from Home and both were greatly enhanced using these headphone. I just watched the new Dune again this week and I’m going to watch it again now. I was surprised how well the active noise reduction worked and that was really helpful for avoiding distracting sounds in my home this afternoon. With the quick press of a button I was able to switch that off and hear amplified room sound to have a conversation. I find the AirPod Max to be very comfortable. The case is nice for storing the headphones and charging them, but I would place them in a protective bag if I were carrying them outside my home. So these were a great buy and I have many uses for them, but I’m most happy with them meeting my needs for surround sound movie watching. Nice job, Apple.

I’ll start with a disclaimer — I’m fully committed to the Apple ecosystem. With that said, I’m disappointed with this product, and I’ll try and break it down into three big categories as a non-audiophile listener. Comfort: These things are heavy. That’s basically it. They. Are. HEAVY. You know they are on your head, you feel them anytime you move your head, and not in a flattering way. I was tired of them by the two hour mark. These things are about a 2/5 comfort for me, comparatively my go to QC35ii are a 5/5 and XM4s 4/5. Sound: Excellent sound, but as mentioned above, being a non audiophile listener, I didn’t appreciate much of a difference between the Bose, Sony or these. The bass is best on the Sony, if that matters to you. The sound IS excellent but I can’t justify the price difference for the sound alone given how similar they sound. Case: Disaster. Like iPhone 4 antenna gate bad. A case is meant to protect at its very basic purpose, these fail to do the bare minimum. Just awful. -1/5. Overall if you are in an apple ecosystem, I personally cannot recommend these. I think the comfort is a big point for me, and not everyone will have the same experience. Consider picking up a pair to trial them yourself. I’ll personally stick to my AirPod pros for now. I’m confident Apple will get these right eventually, and I’ll be first in line again, but for now I think there are several things they need to fix.

I love these headphones! The color looks very sophisticated and sleek. They work perfectly - just make sure to put them on correctly (I had them on backwards initially and it really messed with the microphone feature). I use them all the time, especially when flying or in the office for the noise cancelling feature.

The AirPods Max deliver a warm, slightly V-shaped sound signature with good bass and mids, but the treble can be polarizing due to its peakiness, which may cause fatigue. They are noted for their good soundstage, imaging, and dynamics, although they may not handle subtle shifts in volume as well as some other headphones. The Noise Cancellation feature of these headphones are equipped with nine microphones that provide exceptional noise cancellation, effectively filtering out low-frequency noises. However, some high-pitched noises may not be completely drowned out. These are legit the best overall option for luxury quality headphones, bar none

These are hands down the most amazing headphones I’ve ever owned. Their noise cancelling feature is incredible. You can just place your headphones on and forget everything around you while jamming out to awesome music! The microphone is also really great for phone calls and picks up sound very well. I love that they go over the ears so they’re also perfect for working out and you don’t have to worry about them falling off. They even help keep your ears warm lol. Honestly this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I promise you won’t regret it!!!

I first purchased another brand of headsets from the suggestion of a woman who had them. I ended up exchanging them for these and I’m so glad I did. These headsets are great and the sound quality is amazing.

10/10 recommend these headphones my brother & i went to the gym today & when we were on the thread mill dude got a cramp on his leg and for about 2 min straight dude was trying to grab my attention to stop the machine & i could not hear a word until he tapped my shoulder, so concentrated on my music dude said i looked like “i wanted this peasant to leave me alone” anyways buy these if you wanna focus on on ur future & not the poor

If you’re deep into the Apple ecosystem and want top-tier sound quality, noise cancellation, and seamless integration, the AirPods Max are hard to beat. While pricey, they deliver an experience that justifies the cost—especially for Apple users who value convenience and premium design.

These headphones are really excellent. They feel high quality due to the metal construction and soft ear-cups. I like how the ear-cups are easily replaceable as that is usually the first things to show wear. I also love the sound quality, noise cancellation, transparency mode and seamless connection to my iphone. I also like how my ears are inside the ear-cups and they don’t sit on/squish my ears like beats. I do not like their stupid case, how they can’t fold up and how they can’t be turned off without the case. Also they are super expensive. Overall, I would highly recommend but only if you have an iPhone and some money to spare.

Finally made the jump to buy these as a gift to myself for my birthday as i have been using the studio beats as my everyday go to whether its for the gym, out on walks or doing simple stuff around the house and the Airpods Max completely win with sound quality, ANC and comfort. They do have some weight to them but dont really mind it or even notice it when using them for long periods of time. I do use these at the gym and invested in some silicone covers for the headband and ear cushions which did not affect sound quality at all since these are not Sweat proof its a good way of taking care of them along with that applecare+ id highly recommend getting these

Daughter loves them! Delivery was fast and everything was in perfect condition! They connected to her phone easily and she loves the noise cancellation.

These headphones are amazing! Previously had beats pro but time took a roll on them. I use them for the gym & let me tell ya noise cancelling on these babies are 100! Was working out in the mirror room where the boxing bags are at. Well im doing my thing & I see other people looking my direction.. I look back towards the boxing bags literally less than 10 fr away & a kid is on the floor shouting, he had dislocating his knee! Point is didn’t hear the commotion! So be careful with these! 8.5/10 though just cause they aren't water resistant!

Got the beats Pro as a Christmas gift at a party, although they were fine, they felt a bit cheap. Ended up taking them back for the Sony XM5. Got those home and thought the sound was good, but they were all plastic, light, and not super comfortable. Made one last trip to BestBuy and traded in for the AP Max headphones. These are substantial in regards to material (in a good way), great build quality, great sound and seem to hold a strong charge. I have been impressed with them thus far and glad I made the (multiple) swaps.

These headphones were a big splurge for me but since I saw they were on sale I decided to go for it. They aren’t as noise cancelling as I wish they were for home use but it makes them more practical to wear outside in different surroundings. The speakers are decent and I think they’re rather comfortable but it’s always a preference with that sort of thing. I’d say if they’re on sale go for it but if not then I’d pass.

I was looking for headphones that would not hurt my ears like most over the ear headphones. The size of the speakers really did that for me, my ears fit within the speakers really nicely, I can wear these for hours and not develop ear pain like i used to. I got these as an open box purchase and they came basically brand new, but I was able to save some money on them. The only “downfall” is that they are always on, even in the Smart Case they go into sleep mode but don’t turn off so battery life is being drained even when they are not being used. At the end of the day you are paying for the brand though and I know they are not for everyone so I highly recommend going into a store and being able to try them on before committing to the price tag.
