Shipment was a little delayed and I never go around to trying it out until a few days after the new year. It connects when bent but won’t stay connected as soon as you set it down. Looks like I’m past the return window so a bit dissapoined.

Do to being BlueTooth, it has a bit of a delay because it is constantly going to sleep I guess. I like the side scroll on it, but don't like there is no scroll button that I used on the prior model to close browser tabs. Returning for the older model tomorrow. There is no lag when you have a dongle which this one doesn't. I am sure it is fine for a Surface, but the Surface has a USB to plug in a dongle also.
