Needed cable

Wire/connector for ext. hard-drive works.

Works fine, but it is two-three-maybe=-four times longer than I need. Why is the wire/connector so, so, so long? Even the salespeople were surprised.

Great Extension Cord

In order to locate the hard drive some distance from the computer tower, a power cord such as this ideal.

I was constantly getting it caught on things making it very hard to use. The new one that was purchased at Best Buy is light weight, trim and very easy to use!
