After having mine for a while, I suspect that is accurate. This does the job and the money saved by buying Best Buy's house brand is a plus.

I was worried about the size but we have a quarter of a cow a little over 300 lbs in it with plenty of room left. The only downside is there is not a thermostat to monitor the temperature which was easy to fix by uying a thermometer. Yes, I would recommend this freezer.

With prices going up I can freeze a lot of food for a fraction of the price they are going go. It’s big enough to hold enough food but not too large that there’s no room in the garage.
