I was so happy when I looked and found that Best Buy had freezers in stock for pick up. I ordered this on line for pick up at the store(first time using this service). We were so pleased with the whole process. The customer service was great. The freezer is a little bigger than our other one but it is really working out nicely. Love the light that it has when you open the lid. It got cold very fast and has kept a steady temperature. Our other chest freezer is 5 cubic feet didn't thin add 2 extra cubic feet would be so much but it really is. The freezer is very quiet. At this point it is working out very well for us as we wanted some additional space. We would definitely recommend the freezer as well as the Best Buy order on line and pick up service.

Works perfectly for what I need it for. Plenty big enough, (thats what she said), has a nice light and quiet operation. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered this chest freezer for my office and it works great! It has plenty of space inside and is really easy to set-up and change the temperature. I had it out of the box and set up in the kitchen in about 5 minutes. I cranked it to the coldest temperature and it took about 24 hours. Once it hit the coldest temp, I then changed it to the recommended freezing temp in the middle. So far so good!

The Good: Freezer works great. Plugged it in and it started getting cold almost immediately. The unit is also very quiet. The size is exactly what I was looking for and it is a good value for the price in comparison to similar sized units The Bad: The front corner near the temperature control was crushed pretty badly--and there was no indication on the box and you could not see it until it was unboxed. Geek Squad made it worth keeping--but I really hate looking at banged up appliances in my house--so 1 star deduction. I don't blame the delivery team---I think other logistics problems are the cause. Conclusion: Overall a good value and quality, but I am somewhat concerned about repeat appliance purchases being damaged.

I researched these far too much and just got this on a good sale. It works well for a family of two who garden a lot (and freeze veggies) and do a little bulk buying with other frozen things. Doesn't take up a ton of space and does it's job.

Great little freezer! Super cold but light enough to hoist over a washer and dryer to fit in a back corner. Quiet and love the door light.

This chest freezer is large and spacious. It does sit low to the ground so I recommend putting casters on it (or rest it on a platform with casters). It's extremely quiet. It sits in my basement and I'm unsure if it's on at times (the soft blue light indicates it is). The inside light is a very handy feature. Haven't had to drain it yet and not expecting it any time soon. When that time comes, the front drain is a nice touch. Having the temp controls in the front is nice as well. My previous ancient chest freezer inexplicably had the temp control switch in the back right.

So no shame here - this freezer is probably my favorite inanimate object in our entire house. I love it! We picked it up for some extra storage now that we are trying to limit trips to the grocery store. Freezer was fairly light and easy to maneuver with two people. Set up was easy, and it holds so much food! Freezer has held temperature, still seals well, and I love that the light comes on under the lid when it's opened. The little basket it comes with is perfect for holding smaller items that would otherwise be lost. This was a perfect fit for our household and I can't believe we didn't buy one earlier!

I so far am loving this deep freeze! It’s nice and compact fits perfectly in my garage. I love the fact that it has an internal light and even in the 90+ degree weather it keeps everything frozen solid. Great buy I highly recommend…in fact I have recommended it to a few of my friends and family.

We were looking for a small freezer since the one in our refrigerator just doesn’t hold much, and we found this one. It is perfect! We have it in our garage and fits perfectly in the corner without taking up too much space. It does its job and keeps everything frozen. Also, it can hold a lot! We are amazed how much we can actually put in this chest freezer. I would highly recommend this freezer!

This is a nice freezer. Not to big and not too small, It is the right size for my application and has a small footprint. Needed another freezer to store food of course and this one will be in the garage. It is very quiet and get's the job done. The interior basket and light function are nice to have. Plus the blue power indicator light. I left the temperature adjuster at the factory setting and my items are nice and frozen. Delivery was quick and they confirmed the freezer was working before leaving.

I've had it 3.5 months now. It is on my back patio, shaded. The high temps have often been 100°+ for the last month (Phoenix), and it is just as cold! I have it set to a hard freeze - no issues. There is a slight frost buildup ring inside, closest to the lid. I'm hoping it doesn't become an issue, will do a defrost in the late fall. All foods, like ice cream, are frozen hard! I'm hoping it lasts as long as Dad's GE, which he bought in 1973 and it's still running. Would buy again, as long as it holds out. I'll re-review in the future. Stores more food than I thought it would.

Excellent size, great value (especially when on sale), curbside delivery was flawless (Jerry loaded it in the back of my SUV by himself). Competing brands do not usually come with a light. I do wish this came in black; but, it's quiet and once plugged in, quickly reached -5 degrees F when set at the midpoint. Easy to unpack: just cut the straps and the bottom of the box detaches from the sides. No dings or dents, so far so good. 7 cu ft is more than enough for a young couple or small family.

This is compact and easily moved unit. It is easy to put just about anywhere due to its size. It cools down almost immediately and freezes items solid. I've had it for over a month and it has minimal to no frost on the sides. It is extremely quiet and you wouldn't know it was on except for the little blue indicator light. The only draw back is that it only has 1 small basket so its difficult to separate items. I've filled it over half way and it doesn't have a problem freezing any of it.

Excellent value. I was really stumped on how these worked, but I was looking for something that was not ginormous and at the same time was able to fit a good amount of food. I would say that this is about the amount that an extra refrigerator should get you. It’s super easy to set up, doesn’t make a lot of noise and is very efficient and cold.

The Insignia freezer works perfectly — quick to cool, quiet, and spacious. Setup was easy, and it’s ideal for garage or basement storage. Great value for the price! Highly recommend if you need extra freezer space without breaking the bank.

Since I wasn't able to purchase the name brands, as Best Buy couldn't keep them in stock due the high demand of chest freezers during the COVID-19... I took the chance on the Insignia model and purchased insurance (just in case). I've had the chest freezer for 30 days and it's functioning as intended. The freezer ramped up quickly once turned on. It's an adequate size to have indoors, great value, and wasn't very heavy to lift with 2 people. My rating will be based on 1 month of ownership.
