I have two freezers of other brands that I have used for years without any problem. One of them is even over a decade and still works great. I needed more freezer space and bought Insignia 14.1 CU. Ft Chest Freezer, my first Insignia product. This freezer stopped working exactly one year after purchase. I called Best Buy and got connected with the manufacturer. The Insignia customer representative that I spoke to lacked empathy. He told me to go fix my freezer since the 1 year manufacturer warranty is over. The freezer was just one year plus a few weeks. I asked if they could send their technician to see what was wrong with the freezer, but the representative refused bluntly. That was how my almost $450 went down the drain. I'll never buy Insignia again. Never!!! Please don’t buy Insignia freezer if you want a product that will not be giving you problems.

Great chest freezer at a great price. Nothing fancy but it works. Fits 4 slim torpedo kegs for home brewing. Converted mine into a great Keezer.

I bought a chest freezer. Your add said 29.99 for pick up old unit. Sales person tried to charge me 99.99, said that's all he could do. Had to get a mgr. involved to fix it. Train your sales people a little better.

Works exactly as it should. Haven't had any issues with ice yet, though I keep mine indoors.
