I was looking for a freezer for some overflow from our kitchen freezer now that we do some more stocking up type shopping along with having two growing boys who are eating more and more. It’s a great size for that purpose and fits discretely in a corner in my basement. I read through the negative reviews as well as the positive as I was shopping and haven’t encountered any of the issues I read about. There were no dents, there was a panel covering the area where the plug is, and it works. I’m 5’1” and I’m able to reach the items at the bottom.

It is a great little freezer chest. It runs very quiet. Plenty of storage space. Everything works perfect. Only 1 thing is that when I got it, there was a long dent (about 6-7 inches) on the bottom left of the from front. The paint chipped off. I didn't want to pack it back up and drive all the way to Bestbuy and exchange it. It is working fine, the dent is just a minor cosmetic and I am not worry about it.

Great product. The item is small and fit in my garage with no problem. It freezes the food well and I can depend on it. An item worth buying at a reasonable price.

It has plenty of room and so far is in good working order. I am still figuring out the organizational aspect of the freezer to assure products are rotated properly with first in, first out. As many posts mentioned, there was a minor dent in the bottom exterior near the control knob. The delivery driver provided the information to Best Buy, and we received a phone call that day with an offer of a gift card.

This chest freezer has been a lifesaver. I buy meats in bulk so this freezer is spacious enough to hold atleast 50lbs of meat and also have space for other produce.

Picked up this ice box to survive the zombie apocalypse. The Insignia 7 cubic ft. freezer is clean looking, extremely quiet and does the job it was designed to do. I like the internal light and would recommend this item to anyone that is in the market.

My old freezer died so I had to go shopping for a new one. I read a lot of reviews of people receiving a damaged one so I was kinda scared when my new freezer arrived, but it was in perfect condition no dint's or dings. I love that it has a light so I can easily see what's inside.

We bought this freezer to use at a beach condo for extra storage. So far it has worked perfectly. Just the right size for extra storage without taking up too much room. Easy to pick up from the store and set up at home.

After my previous freezer doed on me all of a sudden i thought i was gonna have to throw out my meat soon. But best buy delivered this next day and ive been very impressed with the performance so far. It has more than e ough room for all my needs

Read on Consumer Reports there evaluation on this freezer. A big bang for your buck. After purchase we found the lid actually stays open when lifted and there is a light built in the hood too. So quiet too, Insignia who knew?

The item wasn't ready for pickup until weeks after the purchase. It was a birthday gift. I'm told it works as it should

Nice freezer holds a lot . Came with a one basket. Would be nice with two. Great value and totally trust the Insignia brand. Excellent customer service and delivery.

So far so good. No problems with this freezer. It does a great job keeping everything frozen and it is just the right size. The light is also a nice feature so that you can see what is in it even in poorly lit areas.

Not much to really say other than it does exactly as advertised. It's nice that you can control the temperature easily but adjusting the knob on the outside and I fell in love with the fact that it has a light fixture inside. The fridge came with an ice scraper that works like a charm. The only thing that I'm not 100% a fan of is the aluminum interior. I would have much preferred a white plastic covering on the inside like our other deep freezer but it's a minor detail. Overall, this is a great deep freezer.
