I bought this freezer as a replacement to an Idylis that I had for almost if not ten years. While it served me well, I cant help but notice how much quieter this one is. The interior light is a welcome addition as well. Only small issue I have and not enough of one to knock off a rating point, is that my older model had recessed handles on both sides of the top , not just the one in the middle of this unit. I love the purchase.

Works great!! We bought this freezer and it works great. It's very quiet and you can fit a lot in it.

I used this freezer for meet and ice cream and never had any problems. It instantly turns cold and ready for me to store frozen groceries.

Awesome product, Real good for the price, I have been with it 5 months already and I have been using it in two different locations, put it in my truck and drive for 10 hours and arrived at destination with food frozen then plug it back and no issues. Great!!

It's a great little freezer, nice size, and it keeps a steady temp. The interior light is very nice for the basement. I went to the chest style after having an upright. With additional baskets/bags I like it better. It was in perfect condition, no dings or bumps. The price was very good, too. I ordered online and picked it up. Not too heavy for two "old folks"!

Perfect size for an apartment. Works great. Recommended to a friend and they also bought one. Best Buy purchase online and store pickup was effortless. Store associate brought right out to my car and loaded it in.

Only had the freezer for about a month, but so far it's been a great freezer. With 3 teenage boys we were always running out of room in our kitchen freezer. Right now we have it filled with a month worth a food like meats, pizza's, ice cream, waffles, veggies and there's still room for more. Glad we didn't go with the bigger one. This one is perfect for a family of 5. Love it!

So far, the item works well and I love that it had a built in light so that when you open it, it lights up the freezer.

Great smaller freezer. We use this one to keep all vegetables in that we stock for over the winter freeing the space in the larger freezer for meats. We have this in our shed and it works perect all year round. It has been a great addition for us.

We were looking for options to help with our overflow in our main refrigerator and freezer. There are a number of frozen food companies that we had used in the past, but couldn't now because of the lack of space in the primary center. We knew that we had a space in our laundry room that was initially reserved for a sink, but also realized that the need for the utility sink was diminishing. After looking at options at many big box stores, we found the Insignia line of freezers. I measured to confirm the space and looked to see which one of the freezers Best Buy was offering would best fit, while at the same time offer free space enough for any needed ventilation. This freezer was delivered and unboxed by their team to our satisfaction. We turned it on and let it sit overnight before checking the temperature. We started moving some of the items from our primary refrigerator/freezer to this chest freezer about a week later. Everything in the past month has been great so far. We really like the size, consistency of temperature, and the opportunity to add even more frozen food to our house. It is easy based on our experience so far to wholeheartedly recommend this chest freezer for anyone looking to increase their ability to store frozen food.

My wife and I are retired and we freeze lots of garden vegetables and beef in bulk. This freezer is a perfect size for us and it works great...and the price was a real bargain. Consumer Reports gave it a Best Buy rating.

Gets cold incredibly fast. Great amounts of space and the rack for holding smaller items is really useful. Used it for an about a year now in a hot garage and runs incredibly well. No issues so far with defrosting either.
