It does it's job, keeping the interior between -5 and -11 F. The light is a great feature not all models offer. The door can be difficult to open (I surmise due to the suction created as it cools after opening), but this tells me that it seals well and two hands (one at each front corner) only requires reasonable strength.

Have it in the basement and it's working great. Have it set at medium and everything is frozen solid. Very little frost buildup. Great for the price.

We received it on time, packaged nicely. Holds a lot of items, which helped clear out space in the freezer above our fridge. So glad we invested in this!

I then compared all reviews and this chest freezer seemed like a good choice. I've had it for nearly a year and it's worked great, gets very cold and has handled a hot summer of Nevada Arizona area temperatures.

We lay items in Ziploc bags on the shelf inside over the condenser. This allows them to freeze flat, and then we can more easily store them where they can be stacked. We have really enjoyed having the additional freezer space, and we got it at a really good sale price
