I've compared several brands from various locations, and this was the best deal with the best ratings. It's very quite, light, and keeps everything frozen. There's even a light when you open it so you can see what's inside. Highly recommend.

It's manual defrost, had it about a month now, very little frost buildup. Comes with an ice scraper, has drain plugs if needed. Got it on sale. Overall im happy with it.

Great Deep Freezer

I selected an Insignia 7-cu. ft. chest freezer from Best Buy. It is the perfect size for my needs. I love it. If you are looking for a deep freezer I would strongly encourage you to consider this one.

Easy to move around and compact. I liked the racking system to find items and rotate as necessary. I did have to keep up on scraping the frost on the inside but not a big deal for me.

It simply does what it is supposed to without fanfare. This is a low cost chest freezer that is plenty large for use as an additional freezer. We have ours in the garage. It is small enough on the outside where it is not in the way, but big enough to hold lots of items.

It was worth the extra $30 to upgrade from the 5 Cu. Ft. to the 7 Cu. Ft. with the extra space and the LED light on the lid. The freezer does experience some frosting on the sides. Keeping the humidity down in the area helps or you can use the supplied ice scraper to keep the build up down.

This has worked very well, has a good amount of storage space, and was priced well! I have not noticed a huge increase in our electric bill either, I would definitely reccomend.

I knew I didn’t want a huge one, but still one that could hold a lot of food. Well, this one goes above and beyond what I expected. It especially was so very helpful during the holidays and I needed to stock up on things beforehand. It’s just the perfect size not too large, but it holds a lot of food.

I was surprised at the amount of space on the inside and liked the way that it fits nicely in the corner of my garage. It keeps my food frozen while allowing it to maintain a fresh taste after it's been thawed out. It's very quiet and it does not cause freezer burn for the food. I would definitely purchase another one!
