I Liked that is also a protective cover. Honestly- she does not use the keyboard but types with the device's digital keyboard. So I could have saved $$ by purchasing a standard case. Oh well!

The first keyboard I purchased had a detachable keyboard and I hated it. This keyboard is everything I wanted. It turns iPad into a laptop. There are no power cords to keep up with either. It's pricey but worth it.

Keyboard never needs charging (I think it gets power from iPad?) also protects iPad very well. Looks great also. Love the loop for Apple Pencil also. Only problem is if you put a case on the pencil it might not fit.
