Cools my large living room quite well. The directional vent helps circulate the air in the entire room. I've had a few portable ac and window mounted, this is by far the best.

As other reviewers have said it is loud, but definitely cools off a room quickly.

got me through a hot summer and worked better than a window unit because I could wheel it around to different rooms, very simple window exhaust setup. device is heavy and bulky but moves around easily. initial box is gigantic and barely fit in the passenger seat of my car.

Finally my apartment is cool!!! I was giving up hours of finding an affordable fix.

It coosl down a small room well and is quieter than a model I bought a few years ago. Open box excellent condition was a great find.

Cools so well but I do have it in a moderately big room. Gets the room so chilly that my gf will sometimes complain about it freezing. Only problem was that the humidifier setting didn’t work at all, not once since I got it.

A life saver. Our central air went out on a 105F day. Pick this up and was able to cool down a 12by 12 room to 70deg while the rest of the house was 90F.

The unit is loud, but it does the job of cooling a small space.

This portable unit saved me (and my marriage lol) when my AC went out during the summer.

Used it to cool down the hottest room in my house and it keeps it nice and cold. The only thing is the tube to dispense the water that comes out of it is so short so it doesn’t reach outside the window. We put the tube in a water bottle so it doesn’t leak lol

Works well for small bed room, not suitable for larger area

This AC unit is perfect to cool your bedroom. It can be a little bit loud though.

I have owned portable air conditioners from Best Buy before and this model is right up there with the best. It's easy to set up and adapt to your needs as long as you follow the guidelines for its application. With its BTU output I was able to position it in such a way as to feed a portion of its output towards my AC system intake vent and it helped cool the house off (single story, small rancher) using the AC systems "fan only" setting...amazing!!!!

This Insignia Portable Conditioner has been pretty impressive. Blows cold air and very simple to setup.

This thing changed our lives. Instead of suffering the heat and humidity of summer we can relax comfortably indoors. It was strong enough to cool our 2bed 2bath apartment on all but the hottest of days. Lucky the second one handled those hotter days.

I got this for the 2nd floor bedroom because there is apparently no insulation on the 2nd floor or the central AC doesn't work up there. Anyway, this works well and my spouse set it up in 5 minutes.

Can’t figure out how the water comes out unless I pull the plug then it floods the floor. Other than that, it’s easy and works fine. I wouldn’t use it for more than 200sf though.
