Purchased this for my daughter’s 20 x 22 converted attic room that was an addition to a home we just bought. The room is not tied into the central AC. We needed something temporarily while we wait for a permanent mini split installation. I had my concerns about her moving in the room considering how warm it was but this has done a great job in mid 80’s weather to keep it comfortable. I can’t speak to how well it will work in the extremely hot temperatures but it’s been great so far. Install was simple, even for a vertical sliding window. I can’t speak to the electricity efficiency because we have no prior electric bills to compare to.

This item was bought because the A/C went out. Came right out of the box and easy to assemble. It helped keep our room nice and cold. I would definitely recommend this portable A/C unit to anybody that needs one.

This is a great portable air conditioner. Very easy to assemble and cools down very quickly. It is not so noisy.

The Portable Air Conditioner met my needs as this summer was one of the hottest and my windows were not a standard type to fit a normal window unit. The only issue i have is the hose should be longer

This ac unit works really well. It's sufficient to cool one average sized room, but not more. The drain was what surprised me. If you do not have a floor drain in the room, you will need a shallow pan to drain it into.

Little loud but cools an entire upstairs of our house. Easy to set up and install.

Easy install process, cooled the area i needed even when temps were extreme. Like the dehumidifier option.

The pros: Very quick and easy to set up. You wont lose your window. The cons: For me this was a deal breaker, its loud. Too loud to have in a bedroom. I tried it for the weekend but ended up returning it. Thanks to best buy for their return policy. Another con is that it will cost more to run over the summer than a standard window unit. That would be ok for me if it wasnt for how loud this unit was. Its basically like having a refrigerator in your bedroon at 10x the noise they make. Overall i would not recommend. The level of noise and cost of operation is not worth the current price tag.

We bought this for our bedroom since we both sleep hot. This AC works very well, nice a cool throughout the night! It does get a little bit loud, but no more so than one would expect from an AC.

Too loud for my liking but setup was super easy and it gets very cool

We are using this in our 24'X24' garage where our dog sleeps. It has performed as expected with no issues.

Excellent unit, cools rooms down super fast and easy to move between rooms, living room during the day and bedroom at night(just don't use the screws to make it easier to move if you plan on doing that)

Very Impressed as My daughter needed a unit for her WI college apartment and her building did not actively support a dedicated window unit. This option is great as it allows her to easily move it between rooms (bedroom & main) based on needs. She has a large ~ 15 x 15 bedroom with 10' ceilings and it cools it great. She loves the remote that acts as a thermostat.

I got this at the height of Memphis summer. It cools the bedroom rather quickly. The noise is easy to get used to. I would make the same purchase again. I've had no issues with the unit. It's easy to put together/ install. I didn't have to drill any extra holes (for those that watch the installation video).

Works excellent! Very happy with this purchase. Had to purchase my own exhaust hookup but worked well when done. Remote "Follow Me" feature is a great thing that works well.

Unit is cold! Bought when a/c went out and had to wait days for tech to come out. Easy set-up and wife likes that the remote will measure the temp in any room she's in. It was a great buy.

A bit noisy, but it does the job well and is effective in cooling fairly large areas. Not meant to cool an entire home, but maybe very effective in cooling a medium office space.
